“Tons of food. I got veggie fried rice. There was no option for adding tofu, but you could have other proteins.
The food was very good and fed me 3 times! I'll be back. I just wish they had tofu.
I got it to go. The dining room left a little to be desired. Very much a fast food vibe. It's an extremely popular place! I wouldn't say there were a lot of options for me, but the veggie fried rice was definitely worth it.”

“I was visiting from out of town and found this place for some hibachi. The food at this place was amazing (and I go to many different places). The portion size, for the price, can not be beat. I ordered their spring rolls, short rib pho, and hibachi. It did not disappoint one bit. The service was great, fast, and friendly. Would highly recommend it if you're in the area.”

“My Mom just got out of the hospital and my Dad is her caretaker which typically means they are eating frozen dinners and take out. They also live outside the delivery area for all of the food delivery apps. I live in Atlanta so I was looking for a solution that could feed them healthy food that was palatable for people over 60 and that would not break the bank. I called fitlife and explained my situation and they told me how their service worked. They also did so with empathy and were willing to do whatever it took to help my parents. You have no idea what that means to the consumer to feel like someone cares and wants to help. I often feel helpless up here in Atlanta with my aging parents down in Florida. I was able to view the inventory that they had in the store, pick out their meals for the next few days and when my parents arrived about 45min later they ran out the door with their food. My parents did not even have to get out of the car. After they picked it up I received a phone call from Hailey and Victoria letting me know that they got their food and told me how sweet my mom was. That is epitome of customer service and I will definitely share my experience. Its sad that service like this rare now-a-days. Thank you for taking care of my parents when I could not.”

“Our absolute favorite Indian Restaurant in Sarasota Bradenton. It's delicious, the staff is friendly, and they are willing to make oil-free vegan options. So much flavor. We tried this place the week they opened a couple of years ago and were apprehensive when we saw the exterior and the location. We walked in and the smell was amazing and it was classy looking inside. They staff was so friendly. The food was delicious. We have been going back ever since.”

“First time back with the new owners and chef...the interior was a shock from what it used to look like...LOVE IT GREAT JOB...now the food...we were at the bar with our FAVE bartender "Marci"...as usual she welcomed us back in with open arms and still remembered our cocktails of choice. AMAZING... We are talking over 6-7 months age. New martini glasses...yahoo...new dishes...new everything...the food was excellent!...Started with calamari which had the blend of tenacles which I love...cooked perfectly not overcooked ...crispy but not rubbery...(would order it again in a heartbeat) then the chicken Piccata from the "bar" menu...perfectly cooked pasta...spaghetti was done al dente (and NOT broken into pieces...hate that) and chicken was hot and again. perfectly seasoned...this chef knows how to cook. Now the pi'eces de re'sistance would be to get these on the dessert menu...Italian SFOGLIATELLA...ask to warm them up...and WOW!!...but for now Scarpinos is back on our local favorite place...we WILL be regulars again...Chef Martin keep it up and our favorite bartender Marci...”

“Usually in and out of here as an OTR driver. Unfortunately here within the last 6 months this place has had trouble making their appointment times stated for drop and hooks. Usually runs anywhere from 4 to 6 hours later than the stated. Whenever I see these loads now I just wait about 4 hours past the appointment to see if the load is ready. If not I wait down the street at Walmart. Tropicana security will kick you out as soon as they figure out you are trying to take a break here.”

“McDonald's used to be THE place to go for inexpensive, quick fast food. I only buy from the $1,$2,$3 menu now. If I'm going to spend $15 for a burger, fries and a milkshake it is going to be at a sit down restaurant. When I'm truly in a hurry and away from home I get a couple of McDoubles using the drive through. This has happened twice in the last year when I was for doing some type of construction work and I was dirty.”

“I came here on a friend’s recommendation as I am visiting the area. One of the people in our group is a vegetarian and we were surprised by the options he had for hot pot; as the majority of us were there for the BBQ. Everyone had a great time. Service was great. The food was fantastic. I would definitely come back anytime I’m in the area.

“My husband and I came here for the first time, because I was craving quesabirria and theirs came highly recommended online. We will definitely be returning!! Food was sooo good! The salsa verde has great flavor, and the agua de Jamaica was the perfect level of sweet. Nice covered tables to sit at. You can also take your order to go. They accept card too which is a big plus! Not a lot of parking here, can fit probably 8 cars or so, but it is surely worth it to stop here. Menu is not intimidatingly large, which makes deciding easier if you're indecisive. There's 4-5 choices of each item, tacos, quesadillas etc. The quesabirria tacos we got were absolutely delicious and we recommend them highly! Thanks Willy!”

“Having moved from NY to Sarasota with my family ten years ago one charm I greatly missed was having Dim Sum in NYC's Chinatown. Well, for my birthday my wife decided to see if she could find me something I'd really want so she searched up Dim Sum and found this place. We had breakfast there this morning (Sun.) and I am thrilled to now have a place for authentic Dim Sum here in Florida. It was delicious and really brought me back. The employees also speak Cantonese which is a language I partly understand so it felt very much like home. Loved it and can't wait to return.”

We told the owner that we had never been here before and she explained her favorite recipes with enthusiasm and incredible detail. The owner is passionate about making the food / each plate/ delicious and fresh. Impressive hearing about where she finds the very best ingredients and we loved hearing about the legacy of some of these recipes.
