This is one of my favorite places to eat in Bradenton, it has fantastic food and the atmosphere is really fun. The owner is a Hands-On guy which means he checks in with everyone at their tables and he is the chef of the restaurant. I love the new items that he's put on the menu and he also has a talent for creating new flavors.
It was our first visit to this locally run gem. We were immediately seated in the front room at a two top in the corner. We skipped starters and went for the pork chop with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and the chicken Marsala with spinach with a side pasta. We really enjoyed the flavors of the food. What a gem of a place! Delicious creative Sicilian menu, not your standard spaghetti-and-meatballs fare. We had a cheesy roasted onion, timbale, beef ribs, nice bottle of wine recommended by our server, and chocolate pate and semi-fredo cannoli. All fantastic! Chef has seen Big Night "thousands of times" and his use of ingredients and care mimics that chef. Lovely evening we will long remember! Grazie!
