“Sarasota and Manatee have a serious lack of small venues for local and traveling bands, artists, etc. I am so thrilled to have Oscura exists. They constantly have great shows and events, including those for local residents to perform with open mics and poetry reading. Also, the drink menu is carefully and thoughtfully curated. The coffee is fantastic. The cocktails are fun and delicious. The non-alcoholic options are more extensive than anywhere I’ve been in our area. I absolutely love checking out shows here. In my hometown up north, there was a local or traveling bands playing original music somewhere nearly every night of the week and I’m from a town of 100k. Oscura brings me back to those days and the vibes are immaculate.“

“Came in to get some snacks and drinks for myself and the children. Great staff and warm reception! (It’s a mom and pop shop) - great menu options, and the food came out very fast. Loved the feeling of the cafe, and the owners are very kind and courteous. “My first visit. Off the chain great food! We had the Greek salad, garlic knots, cheese bread, and 2 different pizzas. The best I've ever had NY style pizza. Passed the flop test on the pizza crust with flying colors, very thin and super crispy.The cheese bread was super fresh and epically crispy, cheesy, buttery delicious. I suggest eating in the restaurant if you want to experience the "straight out of the oven" ultimate crispy crusts. They have great taste in the music that was playing as well. A complete 5 star experience across the board for this little restaurant. This place is now definitely my "Only" place in Bradenton to eat pizza, Greek salad, garlic knots, and cheese bread. I'm betting that everything else on their menu is of the same quality. These guys are the real deal.“
“Febuary 17, 2023 We found Robin's Downtown Cafe on our stay in Bradenton this week and it was so good we ate breakfast there four times. The staff is excellent, very friendly and a pleasure to be around. By the second time we were there they even knew we were having a regular and decaf coffee for me and my wife. The food was fantastic, they post awesome daily specials along with a great menu. If you are in Bradenton it is a place you have to find and try. We give it a 5 out of 5. “Always great food. This time we had the caprese board and burgers. My 9yr old daughter loved the blackberry fojito and ate almost her whole burger. Our server was great and we finished with the lava cake. It is always a bit loud, but still great atmosphere.“
