“I Love this Place! I just discovered that it was here last week when someone told me about it. I went by on my lunch break and had a ham and cheese croissant and an iced coffee. It was delicious! I would normally go to Starbucks, but I must say the difference in the quality of food is night and day. This croissant was fresh. I liked it so much. I went by the next day as well and had a prosciutto tomato and cheese sandwich, with a Nutella iced coffee, and it was excellent! What a Gem of a place! I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a lite selection of quick service food and a a delicious French coffee! I will be back many more times!“

“There are more than a few outstanding breakfast/brunch restaurants in Sarasota, Florida. One of them is Station 400 at 400 North Lemon Avenue in downtown Sarasota. Owned and operated by Dean and Kelly Fox, it is open from 7:30 to 2:30 daily and has earned a reputation as the leading go-to destination for brunch in the city. My wife is addicted to Belgian waffles with vanilla bean maple syrup, whipped butter, fruit, cream and toast with jam. I always start with a bowl of McCann's steel cut Irish oatmeal with cinnamon, granola and steamed berries. And I finish with the Foxes' version of traditional Eggs Benedict, called Tuffle Eggs Benedict, with a toasted English muffin, arugula, caramelized bacon, roasted mushrooms and truffle hollandaise sauce with hash browns and toast with jam. Station 400 also has a location at 8215 Lakewood Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.“

Although the prices are a bit high, it’s a delightful spot for a delicious meal or coffee with a crisp croissant, scrumptious brownie or corn cookie. I don’t know if the restaurant’s revenue benefits the above cultural entities, which I hope it does, its off-the-beaten-path location and, therefore, limited pool of customers justifies the prices. I have never been disappointed in the always fresh and interesting food or in the prompt service. The Bistro is light and bright, the decor is artsy and welcoming and it’s such a convenient place to go after or before enjoying a cultural activity!“

Every member of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their job. The food is insanely fresh, hot, and delicious, and they NEVER skimp on portions/ingredients! The menu items actually come out looking like they do in the advertisements - and they are loaded full of flavor. I recommend one of the new toasted baguette sandwiches; in particular, the Buffalo chicken is to die for! In addition to phenomenal food and service, the location is adorable and convenient; the outdoor seating is very cozy and inviting - you feel like you are eating in a garden. This is our new favorite casual dining spot to hit up at the UTC mall. Definitely check it out if you are in the area, you will certainly not regret it!“
