“Located in the heart of Newtown on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Roots Jamaican Cuisine is a must-visit for authentic, delicious Jamaican food!
My stepfather was Jamaican, so I grew up enjoying Jamaican cooking and have a real appreciation for its flavors. Roots is absolutely fantastic and brings back wonderful memories of the food I grew up loving. I highly recommend giving it a try!“

“Last night we enjoyed dinner and came to see Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind band. Outstanding! Our food was creative and enjoyable and the scene was electric. Dave has done such an amazing job transforming a small backyard into a soulful, comforting courtyard. The band exceeded expectations too!“
