“I had a last minute Thanksgiving potluck to attend and could not find anywhere to make a large quantity of white rice, in such a time crunch. When I called Cantina, the ladies were more than accommodating and ready for me as soon as I arrived. One of the girls even ran out to buy a bigger container to transport all the rice for me.To say their food is amazing, is putting it lightly. The rice was piping hot and full of flavor. The only dish that ran out as quickly as it did at the potluck.“
“Wow!!! Delicious food, great service, SUPER nice people. We all had something different so we could sample more of the menu. Carne guisada (beef stew), Mojo pork, Chuleta Frita (fried pork chop) all were sooo good. We are already planning our next visit to sample appetizers, sandwiches and desserts. Karaoke mostly Spanish music but very upbeat and friendly they didn't mind my husband and I butchering their menu by trying to order and not being able to speak Spanish. We ordered five diffent things, all amazing! Huge margaritas too! Open late also!!Kid-friendliness: There's 3 bad reviews you can tell are from the same person that got mad they are kid friendly. I like the fact that they're family oriented.(You can also tell by her review she must not be all there from her lack of correct spelling.)“

“We are regulars and have never had a bad meal or service which makes us suspect of some of the negative reviews. The soups are always hot. I have tried every dish on the menu. My favorites are the branzino with shrimp, tacu tacu with the seco de res and the flaming noodles with vegetables or protein. We always order a carafe of the chicha morada and my wife says the tres leches is consistently one of the best she has had. Our servers are always spot on which is why we keep returning. Consistency with food and service is important to us and they nailed it.“
“Food was excellent and beautifully presented but service was definitely lacking. We arrived at 5:00 and the restaurant was empty. We started with the beef empanadas and they were excellent. Flaky and flavorful in a delicious sauce. Even though we were the only people in the dining room we had to keep looking for our waiter and ask the assistant to send him over. We chose the lamb rack and curry swordfish for our entrees. Again, the presentations were beautiful and food was very flavorful. The chive risotto was also very good and cooked perfectly. My wine glass was empty and I wasn’t asked if I wanted another until almost done with my entree. This should not happen when it’s slow. I will definitely return because of the food, but sincerely hope service improves.“
“5 starts BUT READ!To be honest the food is amazing, fresh and you can tell it is made with love, BUT portions are not like in the pictures, they serve pretty small portions for mexican food and special for this kind of places, we had to come back and buy some tacos in another little places, they came with a lot of protein and they were just 1$ each, in Mexi-Peru they were 3$ each with just a little bit of carne asada on it. Too bad I didn't take pictures because initially I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after being still hungry and having to come back for more food I think this review could be useful, don't get me wrong excellent taste but portions - price not at all!To be honest, the food is delicious! It is fresh and you can see that they cook with love, BUT the portions for Mexican food and this type of place that is like a fair, were very small, they are not like the photos! After eating we were hungry and had to go back to buy $1 tacos at another stall that were also delicious. It is not a negative comment and it is too bad that I did not take a photo, because initially I did not plan to leave any comment, but after having to buy at another stall, and cheaper with more food to be satisfied, I think that this comment would be useful for both The owner and the customers, the food is seriously good but the prices for what they serve are not!“
