We were hungry vacationers in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try based on the location to our hotel. Wow, were we ever happy we did!! I’ll be honest, I was a tad nervous because the menu items were unfamiliar to my husband and I (we’re hillbillies from the mountains of north Georgia 😂). The margaritas are also highly praised for being on point and at a very nice price point. While it may not be a fancy place, it offers great service and a fun atmosphere. The restaurant is family-friendly, with live music and karaoke mostly in Spanish, and a relaxed vibe, making it a must-visit spot for a great meal and fun time. The staff is accommodating, even helping with dietary restrictions. M&J Kitchen is open late. The food is amazing, authentic Mexican and Peruvian cuisine. The Chef waited on customers, explained the menu, and everything can be adjusted to your liking. Customers had Camarones Roca and Baja tacos, calling it the best food experience. One of the owners is from Mexico and the other is from Peru. The cook also prepared food in Argentina.
