“Amazing empanadas! Great service and good food. I'm so happy it was all gluten free so I could have whatever I wanted. It made both me and my non-gf very happy. Be warned the guava cheese is mozzarella not cream cheese, that threw me off a little since I'm used to cuban style lolDietary restrictions: Entirely gluten free. Has vegan options too bur a shared frier“
“We came in early as they were just opening. Despite hitting them hard with a big group of 12 they were nothing but accommodating. It was a long weekend and this was the perfect place to end it. Abigale was super attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. She even overheard it was my birthday and made a little cake appear at the end. Cool atmosphere and great staff.“
“The best of the best. If you don’t know about this hidden gem go now . I have been all over the world and this food and it’s authenticity is some of the best!! The owner is friendly and is true to his passion ! Keep up the great work team“
“Food was great for the sandwiches. Will have to try the plates. Service is rated a three cause we did take out. Atmosphere was good with the music. Being Latino from Chicago I will come back for more. This is a go to spot when I stay at my condo in Coquina Key.Parking: Parking was decent. Should be able to find parking on Central.“
“I've only been to El Cante at night for some Latin dancing! It's so fun and non judgmental. I don't know how to Latin dance but people are so friendly to show you how. The bar service is great too. Cover is usually $10 on the weekends, but for some live Latin music, you can't beat it. Best place to come for a girls night or a romantic dance date night out!“
“My go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant when I'm looking for traditional food. The chili rellenos are my fav and their super spicy salsas are delish (request in addition to the salsa they bring with chips). Service is always prompt and friendly. They've done some improvements over the years on inside to improve the ambiance that have made it a place you don't just order to-go.“
“I new the previous owne of the restaurant, I always stop to get coffee and lunch and it was excellent. Today, I stop and to my surprise itwas under new management. I just try the cuban coffee, omg it was perfectly balance foaming omg. It woke me up to get ready for work. Gary was really humble and respectful and on point with customer service“
“Was in town visiting family and haven’t had Nicaraguan food in years found and Theo restaurant online and it was totally worth the visit. Everything was authentic, delicious and extremely pleasant atmosphere. I highly suggest stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat. The owner was willing to ship me Nicaraguan Cookies to me in New York. I’m very appreciative and look forward to coming back.“

“This place was excellent. I can’t believe we didn’t find it earlier. The food is familiar but unique. Some of the food is from other cultures, but has a Mexican twist. The prices are great and staff were attentive and very pleasant. This will be on our list of regular places to go.“
