“The best in the area, and seems to be a bit of a well hidden gem or secret amongst the locals. I drove further out from Sarasota to come check this place out after seeing their amazing menu and pictures on social media and it was worth every drop of gas. It's a boutique spin the whole crazed ice/shaved cream that has been well known in the area forever and I'm telling you they've done their absolute best and blown everyone else out of the water. “I must start with my favorite their amazing APPLE FRITTER, chock full of apple chunks & arguably a standard by which all apple fritters ought to be measured. (all other donuts below) Turner's Donuts is a true little gem for locals and the traveler! The owners Thang & Yee Chau are just super hard working, salt of the earth type. They make about 2,000 donuts made every day (I had to ask)! Staff is friendly, quick & efficient! The potato-flour doughnuts are supper fluffy & soft yet, less greasy than a normal doughnut. The Doughnuts Sour cream -crispy outside, soft inside, flavor is just perfectly sweet. Chocolate glazed - chocolate is good Glazed - light as air, coating is slightly crisp. Boston cream - very good vanilla filled Bavarian cream - dusted with sugar, filled with good vanilla cream French cruller - very light texture German chocolate Blueberry cake - i love all of their cake doughnuts, crispy shell, super soft center chocolate cake plain cake Cherry cake vanilla cake Maple cake peanut Coconut - vanilla frosted with coconut The coffee (hot! ) is very good, also tea, hot chocolate & cappuccino.Cheap compared to all the fancy coffee shops in the area. The breakfast sandwiches, eggs, cheese, & fresh-baked bagels or croissants, with choice of ham, bacon or sausage. Lunch sandwiches come on white or whole wheat, choice of ham, turkey, tuna or chicken salad, including chips and a pickle The prices are very cheap, the quality is very high.“
“Picked up doughnuts for staff at my PT facility. Lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the various types of goodies on display. Doughnuts not inexpensive, but sooo worth it. Blueberry cake was everyone's favourite. Worth the trip.“
“A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“
“I would Highly suggest this place. The pho and bahn mi are delicious they have so many teas and smoothies to choose from which were all excellent. We had the Thai Tea milk tea a mango smoothie and a lychee smoothie and all were delicious. We also got a variety of the mochi donuts and they were so good. Not too sweet and they had a good variety of flavors.Also the customer service was great.The lady up front was so sweet!“
“some people might say that the corn dogs were disappointing, they really aren’t. they are really good but the donuts were pretty disappointing. they taste like nothing but at the same time they are mid. the service really depends on the people there. they take pretty long with the corn dogs but it’s worth it,“
“Tried it out yesterday and best donuts we’ve had in a long time! Super fresh and huge! Love that the filling in the jelly and Boston crème was plentiful and a great ratio for the size of the donut. So glad we skipped Dunkin and tried this place out. We also had breakfast sandwiches which were delicious and made fresh. Everything was reasonably priced and affordable! Will definitely return again, they’re already gone and I’m craving more.“
