“We had a great experience eating lunch at Whiskey Joe’s. When we got there a little bit before 12 noon on a Sunday, it wasn’t too busy, but the place quickly filled up. With beautiful weather and outdoor seating directly on the water, everyone preferred to sit outside. They have a large outdoor bar too, which is nice if you are just looking to grab drinks with a beautiful view. We ordered several different foods, including the loaded island fries, wings, grouper sandwich, tiki chicken breast, and jambalaya. Everything was delicious and the island fries were even filling enough to serve as an entree. The service was also excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and the view made it even better. We will definitely be back again!“

This time I got a GF Baked Penne dish, the cheese pull and the flavor was out of this world! Our niece ordered the Smoked Fish Dip (I’m not sure if this is GF but I still tried it because they were raving about it, and it was immaculate). They were super busy this visit (Sunday night @ 7pm) we were able to get seated within 15/20 min. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My favorites are the branzino with shrimp, tacu tacu with the seco de res and the flaming noodles with vegetables or protein. We always order a carafe of the chicha morada and my wife says the tres leches is consistently one of the best she has had. Our servers are always spot on which is why we keep returning. Consistency with food and service is important to us and they nailed it.“

They have a wide variety of IPAs, wheat beers and lagers; plus a nice variety of taps available for draft beer including take home options. For the non beer drinkers there was a nice selection of drinks. The tap room itself was spacious with an eclectic mix of seating. There was intimate soft seating, high tops, low tops, picnic tables and bar seating. There was a small outdoor seating area as well. The place is pet friendly too! A unique food concept was the "just baked smart bistro" kitchen vending machine. Interesting, but we didn't try it. There was a rice ball vendor on site as well. The DJ music sounded great and they have lots of fun activities nightly. The bar staff was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return to try more beer!“
