“My wife and I came to the Ellenton area on our honeymoon. Her local family reccomended we check out Woodys River Roo. It was our first stop and the only repeat stop during our week down here. We went to "The Roo" on three separate occasions and loved each one. The food was great, the view of the manatee river was very nice, but the friendly hardworking staff was the cherry on top. They all really seemed to love each other and worked together like a well oiled machine. They made us feel right at home and made sure everything was just right. Bar tender Johnny, who I belive said had been employed there for 15 years, reccomended a lot of other great places to drink and dine in the area. They also have a gift shop and live entertainment from, music to trivia 7 days a week! 10 out of 10 would reccomend. My wife and I hope to be back sooner than later!“

“On 08-03-2025 I ate at the Sonny's restaurant at 631 67th St Cir E in Bradenton, FL. This is a family-style BBQ restaurant with a very comfortable and welcoming ambiance. I arrived for dinner and was promptly seated. I had their Big Deal Turkey on a bun with fries, a side order of baked beans, and an unsweet tea. My food arrived in a timely manner and was cooked properly. It came exactly as I ordered it and was very tasty. A variety of sauces were available, and I selected the Sweet sauce. My server during my visit was Danielle. She was very efficient, kept my tea glass filled, and responded to any and all requests I had. I have had Danielle for a server several times before, and I consistently receive superior service from her. She is always friendly and courteous and takes a genuine interest in her customers, making sure that they have a positive dining experience. She is a credit and an asset to the business. I recommend this restaurant and will be returning there again to eat.“

“we are having a 'staycation' of sorts to visit Anna Maria Island Beach, and I have to stay, after walking to 5(!) restaurants and being turned away, this amazing restaurant allowed me and my family of 5 to stay. Not only did they welcome us, Doug, our server, laughed with my kiddos, treated us like we were royalty and made our little staycation dinner- well...amazing. This is the kind of place that makes a city it resides in..PROUD. The food was nothing short of amazing, I am celiac and struggle on vacations, knowing where to eat. Thankful to God, that this chef is gluten intolerant - so I could eat just about everything on the menu. Do not be discouraged..they might not have a kids menu, but that did not stop Chateau 13 from editing any dish they were interested in to make them smile. I thought they were going to make me order another side of 'frites' to go!“

“The food here is authentic! It is the closest I can get to the food in VN. I had their Banh Uot, Rice with short ribs, banh mi with grilled pork, pho combination and pho ga.

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

Therefore, no reservations showed when our party arrived. The host was icey, lacked empathy or understanding. He was extremely demeaning and haughty. “We stumbled on Yard House, after shopping late in the area. Not sure how we slept on this restaurant before this, but it's our new favorite place. The vibe is awesome. They have 80's classic music and videos playing, along with multiple sports screens. Although, it wasn't too loud and we could still easily enjoy good conversation throughout dinner. Everything was very clean, and I'm super picky. The menu had something for everyone's taste. We tried the Lobster Garlic Noodles, Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna, Truffle Fries and Whiskey Caramel Butter Cake. The noodles were beyond expectations. The flavor profile was so unique compared to anything similar that we've tried elsewhere...hands down the best noodle dish we've ever had! And it was loaded with huge chunks of real lobster, as well as shrimp. The ahi tuna was so tender, it could be cut with a fork...it literally melted in your mouth. Typically, I'm not a fan of ponzu sauce, but there's was incredible and went perfectly with the tuna. I also appreciate that they served it with broccolini, which had an amazing grilled taste and wasn't over salted. We also tried a horseradish aioli and wasabi sauce - both were great. The server was very upbeat, friendly, accommodating and attentive from beginning to end. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. We will be back and will bring friends!“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. “We were there last evening for dinner. This location is much smaller than the one at UTC. Difficult to carry on a conversation even at a small table. Food was good and service was as well. Very busy and noisy for a Wednesday evening. We prefer a more intimate experience, as well as excellent food.“

“My husband and I decided to go to bonefish for our 11th yr anniversary, we have a 4yr old so we don’t get to have many date nights & it was more than a perfect experience! Luke was our server, he was very friendly, greeted our table quickly, knowledgeable about the menu items and helpful in choosing the delicious food we received. We started off with the bang, bang shrimp, my husband then got the filet & lobster and I got the grilled salmon with lemon & caper butter, broccoli & a caesar salad. Everything was Delicious.
