Ro is one of the top Hyde Park restaurants in Tampa and a go-to spot for incredible food and vibrant atmosphere. As a regular, I highly recommend the duck tacos—they’re packed with flavor—and their old fashioned is one of the best in the Tampa nightlife scene. The DJ nights bring great energy, and the private room is perfect for hosting events or gatherings. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out or a stylish place to dine in Hyde Park, Ro never disappoints!

Ro Hyde Park is a fantastic restaurant located conveniently in Hyde Park Village, offering excellent food and ambiance. It is considered the best sushi/Asian fusion in Hyde Park and probably in the Tampa Area. The restaurant is nicely appointed with plenty of room for each table, and the environment is beautiful with clean, aesthetic bathrooms. The seafood is superior quality and the freshest in the Tampa area. Diners enjoyed every dish ordered, including wagyu gyoza, edamame, shishito peppers, rock shrimp, steak and eggs, sushi, ro french toast, japanese hash, and bento boxes. The rock shrimp are delicious but very rich, so they may be a good dish to share. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly with tremendous flavor, and the sushi was fresh with good portions. Cocktails like the lychee martini and rayu spritz received 10/10 ratings. The service is professional and extremely polite, with staff providing helpful recommendations and superb service. An unfortunate turn of events ended in a wonderful brunch, and the quality reflected the final price. Ro deserves a second trip.
