“Having a German Deli in Tampa is a real treat! I have been shoppig there for many years and love their sandwiches. The meat counter offers wonderful German cold cuts - my favorite is the Schweinebauch. The liverwurst is the closest I've tasted to compare to Kalbsleberwurst in Germany. They have a nice variety of German items including all types of German beer. Can't wait for my next visit next week!“
“German tavernA different option for an after office or a dinner with friends, enjoying a very good beer and complementing German food.In addition to the bar and restaurant, it has a minimarket where they offer a huge variety of German products, charcuterie, sausages, cheeses, snacks, beers among many other options.“
“I had a great time in this place. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the wings. Very cool Staff, great atmosphere. I went with friends and we played darts all night. The owner is very friendly. If you are in the area, stop by and unwind. You won't regret it.“
“A Valentines Date for German food! What an absolutely amazing venue! This building is breathtaking. I'd love to have toured this building & learned of its heritage! The resteraunt was expected: table clothes & linen napkins, silver ware and cocktails and brews! A large menu with authentic cuisine littered with non authentic choices plus a vegetarian option which was welcomed! The food was plentiful and arrived quickly! The patrons were equally paired for a Valentines celebration. The beer garden was truly where I'd had liked to have sat, yet where we did sit was equally nice! We enjoyed our visit! Appetizers, main entrees and desserts with a full bar and authentic German beers. I'd hoped to see beer being served in German beer steins & wait staff dressed in authentic German attire... so I was a tad bit disappointed, yet still a 4/5 star event and food was well prepared and many options. Pricey yet not overly so, food is largely portioned and many were leaving with their leftovers in tow! Located on the edge of the Mass Ave trail of yumminess so that was a nice stroll to take after eating such a heavy cuisine!! We enjoyed our special date and I'd encourage anyone with a taste for German food to give this place a try!! It was such a lovely time!“
“As close as you can get to a German street food Döner. Nice service and good selection on toppings. The fries and a tasty seasoning to them as well.Vegetarian options: If you don’t choose meat the rest of the toppings are veggies.Parking: If not too busy, easy to find a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for easy access“
“I've stopped there in numerous occasions for a pint found the service and beer above average. Located in a former gas station on Florida avenue it has that feel if the people back in the day could talked to you they share some great stories it has the homey vibe to it . But been there twice in two weeks to check out the menu and the beer again after a brief hiatus. Found the beer to be crisp and fresh the service a little more attentive and the food great for any of the beers. Pretzels were bang on with the mustard and the beer cheese . Had" The Rob " roast beef on weck and the horseradish sauce was fire. I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu if I leave the beers alone for room to taste the rest of the culinary bites.“
