“On my last day in Tampa, I passed by and decided to grab some lunch here. Stratos & Leo were working and were both soooo wonderful! So kind, sweet, 10/10 service + attitude from them both! The place was clean + lively, the food was SO delicious, everything was great! Will definitely stop back in when i find myself back in Tampa ?“
“I have eaten here on several occasions and the last time, while I was waiting for my date to arrive, the proprietor approached me and asked me if I would like to reserve a table. After my date arrived we were promptly seated and, although we lingered over our dinner, the host was very gracious and polite. I would recommend this place not only for the food but also for the hospitality.“
“First time here: Ordered the Chicken Saj, essentially a thin freshly made wheat wrap pressed and filled with deliciousness.I put everything on it with the garlic sauce and chicken, if I wasn’t full from this I would have ordered a second one it was so good!“
“The chicken and gyro combo platter is AMAZING. This is my favorite place in tampa and my parents always make sure to get it for me when I’m in town. 10/10 such amazing food!!!! If they expanded to Orlando I would be the happiest girl ever“
“One of the best Shawarma places that I have tried. The food tastes, very authentic coming from a person who lived in Syria. I remember the first time I tried it, I felt like I went back in time 10 years to when I lived back home. Truly uncomparable to any of the other places in the area. 10/10 also, the workers are extremely generous with their portions. Every time I go there they always give me pickles and a lot of toum on the side! I do live over an hour away and do not hesitate to make the drive there to have a nice meal.“
“We tried the lamb and chicken kabob meals....so much food. And everything was so good. The lady working the counter (didn't get her name-sorry) was very friendly and helpful. We ended up ordering too much food and took a lot home + sweet treats for later. Overall great food and service. Would definitely return!“
“An explosion of great flavors in every bite. Fresh and delicious food, with very pleasant and quick service. Generous portions, and lots of options on the menu. The atmosphere is decidedly casual, and well traveled, but you're there for three food, and it's definitely worth a trip! I had a traditional Gyro, and it came with a mound of meat, tasty sauce, and fresh veggies on a puffy pita. My wife had Shawarma, which also had fantastic flavors and was a huge serving of food. Definitely recommended!“
“DIED AND ARRIVED AT PARADISE!My simple favorites all made fresh, in-store by chef - fantastic homemade flavors: humus, babaganoush, kibbeh, felafel. You haven’t really eaten this food until you have it fresh and homemade - and they are nailing it!Only item on appetizer assortment plate not made in-house was stuffed grape leaves, and they were still very good. The homemade lentil soup was absolutely spectacular - rich, thick, flavoring and spicing wonderful, fresh flavor was stunningly good.Oddly enough, I went to other Petra location downtown and it was so-so and wouldn’t go back - not the same chef as here.“
“It was such an amazing experience that we decided to visit again during our trip to Tampa. Food was amazing, service was AAA and last but not the least host were amazing. They welcomed us on the iftar buffet ( which was one of the best I have ever enjoyed) and treated us as their family and friends rather than the customers.HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any one looking for amazing Mediterranean food in Tampa.“
“As a Shawarma expert, I can confidently say that this is the best I've tried so far. The meat Shawarma is unparalleled, without a doubt the number one choice. The cleanliness of the establishment is remarkable, and the chicken Shawarma is simply adorable. Once you try it, you'll surely fall in love with Shawarma. Thank you!“
“Tampa Palms and the immediate surrounding area has some of the best cultural food options in all of the greater Tampa Bay area, and I may have found the best Turkish Street food in all of the land at 1453. I have had many good experiences in life especially when it comes to food and this food truck put me in the passenger seat as they drove me around flavor town. I wish I could have tried one of everything, but the main feature of this plate was the donor kebab. Tender and delicate gyro style lamb adorned with grilled veggies and rice. I wish I had words to describe the flavors but spices came on this plate that I could not capture other than acknowledging them as incredible. Had to throw a salad in as well which of course was included to once again be a testament to the value you will find on this menu. No question that I will be back and hopefully soon!“
“Amazing grilled mains, hot, and cold meze. The batata harra (spicy potatoes), hummus, and mixed grill were my favorite items, but everything was delicious! Truly home-style Middle Eastern cooking, including Arabic coffee (think Turkish coffee, but with cardamom) coupled with great service in cute patio seating. Definitely worth a visit while in Tampa/Ybor!“
