“My son and I recently had an incredible lunch at Farooj Abo Alabed restaurant in Tampa. It was my first time, and I was immediately captivated by the restaurant’s unique and delicious cuisine, which reminded me of Brazil. I ordered the whole chicken meal, and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and it was accompanied by a variety of sides that were equally delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure that we had a great dining experience. After finishing our meal, I called my wife and suggested that we go back to the restaurant for dinner. They have a wide variety of food, desserts, and Açaí that is simply incredible. I’m so happy to have discovered this restaurant, and I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious food. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great dining experience in Tampa. A special thanks to: Marwam Aya Osamah You guys did amazing, thank you. “Ghawar is definitely a hidden gem in Temple Terrace! We went with family and ordered a variety of dishes so we could try a little bit of everything, and we were impressed from the very first bite.

The stuffed falafel was delicious, and the salads were incredibly fresh — especially the Turkish salad and the cucumber yogurt salad. We also tried several chicken dishes, including chicken kebabs, shish tawook, and grilled chicken, and every one was flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly.

And the hummus deserves a special mention — WOW! Easily some of the best hummus we’ve had. Smooth, creamy, fresh, and absolutely delicious with the bread.

Everything tasted fresh and authentic, the portions were generous, and the whole meal felt like a genuine Mediterranean dining experience rather than just another restaurant meal.

Highly recommend Ghawar if you’re in the Tampa/Temple Terrace area. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Amazing chicken and lamb shawarma with the out of this world garlicky sauce that just melts in your mouth. Tried shawarma from different restaurants but nothing comes close to this. The owner enquired about the food and even offered us free baklava 😀. Food was made fresh right in front of you. Highly recommend this place for everyone to try.“

“The food is fantastic. I took my eight year old here and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff was super friendly and brought us delicious soup as soon as we sat down. The chicken haneed was flavorful and such a great value with half a chicken on the plate. We also got the saltat which I’d highly recommend. We will definitely be back.“

“We had ordered the lamb maqluba without eggplant. The meat and rice were extremely flavorful and so comforting with the yogurt and salad that we got as sides. I highly recommend this place to anyone willing to try, really good Palestinian food.“
