“The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

“This food took me away, it transported me. The flavors brought me to my in-laws house in Aguada, PR. I was suddenly eating my breakfast on the porch, in the mountains, with the breeze in my hair and looking out at the ocean. This food tastes like home, like family made it. “Place is really close to home so that's convenient. Good food. Best for takeout, not eating in. They don't speak much English so point to tell them what you want and they'll take care of you. I ordered the vegetable tray, since I'm not eating meat right now. It was seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy brown. I didn't miss meat at all.“

“This food was very delicious, I forgot to take a picture but I got the pernil and it was moist, and yummy, the side I chose was malanga mash, MY BELLY IS FULL! You get a lot, 2 people easily could’ve eaten from my meal.
My husband got the caren de res con papa y sanaorias. It was Yummy! And Anna whole slice of avocado!
I washed my food down with their fresh made mango juice, and my hubby got a canned Coke. Seriously, stop by and get your fill. All that for less then $30!!! You can’t go wrong!

I been to all of them.
I order the same meal, every time. Cilantro lime chicken, yellow rice, plantains, pico de gallo, chips, cheese all over, virgin strawberry daiquiri with whip cream and strawberry. Always a hit.
If you're able, eat your meal outside.
The only ocean view one, well worth, it.
This place is a landmark, let's keep it that way.“
