“Madame Fortune, a charming speakeasy nestled behind a deli, offering a unique and intimate dining experience. The decor is elegant and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that transports you back to another era. I visited for brunch and was immediately impressed by the Cuban coffee, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly frothy. The sweet potato pancakes were a generous portion and incredibly fluffy, although they were a bit sweeter than I anticipated. The fried chicken was crispy and satisfying, but could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. While the food was enjoyable, the service was a bit lacking. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, the bartender seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than attending to customers. This detracted from the overall experience. Overall, Madame Fortune is a hidden gem with a lot of potential. The ambiance and decor are exceptional, and the food is tasty. However, the service could be improved to make the experience truly memorable.“

“This is by far the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, portioned & priced. I had ox tail with rice & peas and the meat just falls off the bone, super juicy and tender, could not ask for more. I also had a Jamaican beef patty and it was also the right amount of everything not to mention healthy since it is baked. Their juice was also perfection and I don’t typically drink juice. It is super hard to find restaurants that don’t over do it on seasoning, oil, salt or sugar these days but these guys do it. That’s why I give Jamaican on the Go a 10/10! Keep up the amazing quality and setting the bar high. Best food truck ever ??????“

“Good flavorful food. I always get the oxtail but it is very inconsistent. Half the time it’s incredible and extremely tender with lots of sauce. The other half of the time it’s somewhat tough and barely any sauce. There must be 2 chefs. Overall good quality fast spot w generous portions“

“This has been around a long time and haven't been here in awhile. After this dinner realized it was certainly a mistake. Food was REALLY good. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. Two of the tinest call outs: lettuce on burger was a little soggy and mashed side on churasco steak was a little dry. Certainly set off by EVERYTHING else on the table. Meatball app was great.
Penne with chicken was really good. Great sauce, perfect pasta and chicken nice and juicy. Churasco steak was just as ordered. The jasmine rice side was superb!! Everyone at table was fighting over tastes. Wedge salad was done as an entree as it was nice sized and great blue cheese, both crumbles and dressing. Hamburger was solid and fried very good. Excellent dinner with the fam. No room for dessert. We'll be back soon!“
