“Great Experience!! The atmosphere here at the Doc Ford's St. Petersburg Pier is just as wonderful as their other locations. Now I can say that I've been to all of their locations!! Great food!! Perfectly Crafted Cocktails!! Fantastic Service!! Fabulous Atmosphere!! And, Especially that "Doc Ford's Rum Bar Vibe" that you can expect to feel at each location!! It's a totally submersive thing that you just feel once you step onto the property!! I had the Shrimp Ceviche paired with the Fried Calamari.... Superb!!My BFF of 43 years and I had a great time!!“
“Really good food. Oxtail was bussin'. We got there right before they closed so we didn't get to try a lot, but the rice and cabbage were also good. The plantain were nice and ripely and nicely cooked! In and out quick service. The staff was respectful and friendly!“
“I have been trying to find ox tail that reminds me of my time in the islands all over Pinellas County and this is the first time I found an ox tail dish that has the right dark rich color was tender, but still had nice texture and wasn’t greasy. Lots of great layers of flavor. Mr. Mike at Calabash is making some wonderful authentic island dishes.The curry goat was also excellent and I love the traditional sides of cabbage and rice & peas.Everything had just the right amount of spice and they even had my favorite grapefruit soda “ting”!“
“This place has the best atmosphere! I love the live music, the water views and sitting outside has all the Florida vibes.I usually order the shrimp and grits but this time the shrimp tasted stale and the grits wasn’t as saucy as I’d like. By the time it came to my table it wasn’t hot anymore. I’m disappointed with their lack of consistency. I’m not sure if there’s staff issues or what, but in prior years the food was consistently good and now it’s just “ok”.The kids meals were a hit and the ice cream ? sandwich is a fan favorite. I’ll give them another try simply because of the atmosphere.“
“Super flavorful and delish! We loved the Umami and Yard Bird bowls + the lime ginger coconut juice. Their sauces are bomb, and I want to try them all.I like to eat vegetarian and totally would here in the future because everything is super flavorful, even the beans.“
