Bee’s Island Kitchen Reviews
Bee’s Island Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Tampa. I always order the jerk chicken plate, and it never disappoints. The chicken is tender, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly with that authentic island heat. The portion size is generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
What really stands out is the service — every time I’ve gone, my food has been ready fast and the staff is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re...read full review

Based on the reviews, Bee’s Island Kitchen is an absolute bomb, authentic Jamaican cuisine spot. It is a hidden gem and a diamond in the rough. The food is cooked fresh and full of flavor. The curry goat is amazing, fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply seasoned, and awesome. The curry chicken is also a favorite. The veggie plate with rice n peas, cabbage and Mac n cheese is full of flavor, and the baked macaroni is the best ever. The macaroni and cheese, cabbage, and cornbread are all delicious. The best lunch special allows 2 people to eat for 16 dollars with full meals including cabbage, rice, and a choice of meats plus a drink. For larger portions, get the large plate to eat off three times or share. The service is very friendly, though the staff may come off a lil rude but they are not. The atmosphere is a hole-in-the-wall that could use remodeling, but the kitchen is clean. The wait time is about 12 minutes. It is real, authentic Caribbean food that is comforting, generous, and soulful. Highly recommended.
