Papa John's in Tampa

“I've been a loyal customer to this location for at least 15 years. Honestly, coming from the northeast, the only pizza I really like in this area, is Papa John's. For all those years, I would order a pie once a week, just for me. Well, a little over a year ago I was diagnosed with throat cancer and my life was devoted to chemo and radiation for about 8 months, and I could only have liquids in that time frame. Now, I am on the other side, I beat cancer, surivived the treatment, and now can eat semi-normally. I went in person to this location I typically ordered delivery from because I wanted to explain I needed the pie cooked but not well-done becase I still have challenges swallowing. I was greeted with SUCH kindness and care, the pie was made exactly as I described, and the driver at the counter, Daniela, and the GM, Jeff, made my entire year with the compassion they showed me. I will continue to order from this location gladly to support the caring team members and GM, and so should all of you! Enjoy!!

“Melissa was awesome. 😊 my family and I just moved into a new apartment today and we received a folder with some flyers and papa John’s had a free pizza code. Tried it online and it didn’t go through for some reason. I drove up to the store and was greeted with another employee who was very nice as well, and then Melissa came up to assist me. She took her time and used my code to make sure I received my pizza. Customer service really makes a company and she did just that. Thank you so much Melissa. ♥️“

“This people are amazing and work hard don't bother about the bad reviews I have seen them working fast as as they can on busy times, they do get exploded but don't get props I do give them that for killing it on busy peak times if u want faster service avoid friday after 6 pm Saturdays because they do get exploded as you know they are located on a high demand area plus all the Uber delivery,doordash ext.“

“I ordered pizza and Oreo bites on Christmas eve at 7:51pm, turns out they were closing at 8pm and I didn’t even show up until 8:24pm. They even tried calling and texting and I didn’t see the call or message (DND was on) I had looked up to see what time they closed, due to the holiday, and it said 12am. But yes employees stayed and waited and I am so grateful and sorry that I was that person! Pizza was great and I hope this review makes up for things at least a little. “I ordered food for pick up July 19, 2025, when I got there only one person (Rebecca) was working, I have to commend her for her great personality and speed, orders were coming. And her took care of all four people in the lobby. My only question was why only one person working, again I thought she did a great job. Please get the lady some help especially at the busy times of the day.
Great job Rebecca and yes I would recommend this store on North Florida Avenue in Tampa Florida, they always do a great job. Two thumbs up and five stars!!!“

“Editing my review after management intervention. They were very quick to respond and correct my issue I returned to the store today (about a month after the initial bad visit) and it was miles better this time around. Happy to see the quality and consistency that's normal from Papa Johns. I'm hoping my past visit was a one off.

Ordered carry out. $60 in food and paid in cash. Staff asked for my name 3 times after already handing me my order, struggled to provide my change. Drove home and opened up to the worst breadsticks possibly made. They are like burnt tree sticks. Pizza is average luckily! I go to papa johns because they typically have great consistency, this place does not. Wish I didn't pay in cash so I could get some kind of compensation back because there's no way I'm returning to this location. I highly suggest going to another location.

“I have known this location for years and the management and workers are very kind and courteous

They now work untill almost 2am and the pizza quality is... well it Papa John's so the best.

This location is an animal, major props to the boss who runs it 👏 🙌
