“This is a fun little café across the street from the beach. Our food was good. Our server was fantastic. Definitely a great place to visit while you're walking the beachwalk. My pictures didn't turn out well, but it was an amazing sunset!“

“Hand a meal with my family there last night. The atmosphere was awesome, the food was prepared fresh and the server and owner Wendy very attentive to the needs of 7 of us at our table. Quit going to overpriced chain restaurants! Support local small family owned businesses!“

“Used to go to this place a lot but it's falling apart. Bartender couldn't get nothing right the other day, kept messing up orders, kept ask same questions about everyones order..and then today I went back I asked about who was the bartender, a snotty customer in the bar said well. You can go do another bar!!... so I did ... And I won't go back. Whoever the bartender was last night was high on something. She couldn't get nobody's orders right? And there were people hanging out there and never seen before that where high on something and it wasn't alcohol!!“

“As someone visiting from Iowa, we decided on our last night to drive back to Clearwater to eat here. Husband said tenderloin was good but breading needed to be a little better. It was falling off the loin. Loose meat was good and so was the Mac n Cheese.“

“First of all - this is a great place to come after a day at the beach. They make the biggest frozen drinks and cocktails. Yum. We had dinner there on a Thursday night - everything me and my girls had was delish. Then to top it off - they had karaoke there!! Wow...we didn't plan on singing but we tried it and had so much fun that we stayed all night long... Def go just for the karaoke. Thank you to DJ Doug for such a fun time!!“

“If I knew I was going to be the first to review Current I would have definitely taken more photos. In general the Opal Sol hotel is AMAZING! Not a bad view in the entire property. We decided to grab some lunch at the pool bar Current. We started with the tuna tower whiz was AMAZING! We then had the grilled chicken Caesar salad which unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. It was bland, the chicken was dry and just completely underwhelming. However, the salad experience was quickly forgotten when we bit into some of the most scrumptious slice of Ultimo Pizza! Seriously this was one of the best pizzas we ever had, it was thin, and cooked to PERFECTION!

Service came with a smile even though it was quite busy. Overall atmosphere was amazing! Will definitely come back, please fix your Caesar salad!“

“Boy this spot is just the best! Always popular, great vibe, & the food is far above the norm. So tonite had superb baby backs w/the sides of corn & beans & brunswick stew that were "so far above normal" cuz of the lil additives. Pieces of meat in the beans & stew, fire roasted corn, wow, loooved them. Dessert can't pass up the roasted banana pudding w/cookies all through & on top, omigosh we're addicted, lol. Asked for our fave waiter Tristan, & he was there doing his usual super service, such a fun guy. TV screens on, even got to see my home team QB Patrick Mahomes of the world champion KC Chiefs doing a commercial, yaaaay! The sweet manager Chris stopped by to say hi & ask how was everything. It was wonderful, as I told him all the above, & we'll be back!“
