“Been in this area since 2003, been going to the blue for years. Today was absolutely amazing. Thank you to our server Italia she went above and beyond expectations. We finished our lunch in the main dining room went out to the poolside and she continue to take care of our party like I said I’ve been going there for years. Today was exceptional. Hope everybody else can get this experience.“

“Monday night and it was slow, I felt bad for the workers. Tayler was a great server though. I had the BOTM special (raspberry lemonade cider) for $5. Can’t beat it! We hung out and played a few games of pool. My Cuban quesadilla was actually pretty yummy, and their fried & tots are super crispy and yummy.“

“I would really like to thank the staff of Thirsty Marlin especially my server Smiley. He’s taken care of me before. But today. He went above and beyond. It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. Service food all top notch. if you try the French dip you will never try another French dip anywhere ever again. “My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..“

Now that the original and best Chef Roger is back after an absence for a few years, it is even more fantastic and every single dish is full of quality and flavor! Ginger was our server, awesome, she was perfect. We will be requesting her tables any time we return. She was kindly patient with us as we got our act together, ordered the ESPE Blonde and my better half greatly enjoyed the “The Last Days of Summer” sour. The food was surprisingly fantastic! “We really liked the tradition of the Palm Pavillion. We enjoyed our visits there. We decided to try things out now that they have changed to Crabby’s. The atmosphere was still great, the gift shop still had the cute apparel items, the staff was friendly and attentive. The thing that will make us come back frequently though was the food and menu selection. The menu isn’t huge but has a lot of different options. The food was so good. Everything was fresh & hot. Our group had pasta, shrimp, fish and beach nachos, and cocktails & everyone loved their food. I loved the Palm Pavillion and it made me sad to see a change but this is a great place. Looking forward to going back.“
