“Great food, service and prices!!!“

“Went here with some friends on a Friday night. They had live music and really nice dart boards 🎯 the place wasn't that big but it was the perfect size & very welcoming 😎 the main reason I wanted to leave a review was because of their food. I had their special which was a Prime rib 😮 with french fries on garlic toast, it was delicious, there fries are amazing. Everything that my friends had they also loved.. All of the staff were amazing very friendly. Even the cook came out and asked how we enjoyed our food. The prices are unbeatable. I had dinner and a drink for 20 bucks prior to going to the blind shark. We had gone to another bar and it cost me 30 bucks to have two drinks.🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣😎..“

“100 out of 5 star review Came to Florida for my bachelorette weekend. This place (we went for brunch on Saturday around 10am) was the best service and most impeccable food we had the entire weekend. It all came out within 10 min, all orders (party of 5) were hot, correct, and superb. I wish I could remember our waitresses name (super sweet, petite, brunette young woman) was attentive, kind, helpful, and knew the menu verbatim. If we would have been in Florida longer (like a week, instead of 2 days) I would have requested to go back!“

Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. One had hash browns, one had home fries, sausage links, biscuit, and toast. Let us finalize our visit this way. On the way home, we kept saying...That was really good! Over and over again.“

“Party of three arrived at 5:30 on Sunday Oct. 4, 2026 to celebrate a 56 year wedding anniversary. We were seated promply and assigned Ariana as a waitress, who is responsible for most of this 5 star rating. We ordered two mixed drinks and one wine and found that the bartender mixed the drinks perfectly, (unlike another restaurant in the area we tried for the first time which we suggest you stay away from, "Prohibition"). One of the managers named "Dan" stopped at our table and had a meaningful conversation that was not a "required", ("How are you, is everything ok?"), kind of scripted/required in his job description, because he took a real interest in who we were, where we were from and what brought us to his restaurant that evening. Refreshing change from the normal Florida shuffle! Ariana, took the time to show us an "October fest" menu and we made our menu selections which took a surprising SHORT time to prepair. There was one lamb chop dish, one steak auPoivre and a Ahi Tuna. All these dishes were prepaired PERFECTLY, which reflects on the new Chef that has been recently acquired according to our waitress. Undoubtly, the best meal the three of us have had in a long time in Florida! I would have rated this experience higher than 5, if I could, and I wasn't "seated near a window", which after reading some of this restaurant's other reviews, seems to be the basis of their bad reviews. I am sure those reviewers would be better served eating at a hot dog stand with a view of the beach, which would leave more room in a restaurant like Bon Appetit for those of us who are looking for those very hard to find qualities supplied by this establishment in a Florida dining experience!“

“My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..“
