They had live music and really nice dart boards 🎯 the place wasn't that big but it was the perfect size & very welcoming 😎 the main reason I wanted to leave a review was because of their food. I had their special which was a Prime rib 😮 with french fries on garlic toast, it was delicious, there fries are amazing. Everything that my friends had they also loved.. All of the staff were amazing very friendly. Even the cook came out and asked how we enjoyed our food. The prices are unbeatable. I had dinner and a drink for 20 bucks prior to going to the blind shark. We had gone to another bar and it cost me 30 bucks to have two drinks.🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣😎..”

The special is very large and the mozzarella is fresh and excellent. The Prosciutto is good but not enough, only two slices. It would be five star's if there was another few slices of Prosciuttto. Tomato, shredded lettuce and onion with oil plenty.”

They had a turkey, dressing. mashed potatoes, and corn lunch plate that also came with soup or salad for $10.95. Literally enough food for two meals. I brought half of it home for later. Feeling very disappointed I called the resturant and spoke to the manager Michelle who was very apologetic. After explaining I had just come home from a very long workday, I was not.leaving again to pick up the correct order. Michelle not only prepared a fresh order but delivered it to me on her way home from finishing her shift at the resturant. I have to say, I am taken back from not only Michelle's empathy but her eagerness to help correct the oversight. In a day where mediocre customer service has been accepted as the norm, to experience excellent customer ( and delicious food) is a rarity. Thank you Michelle and Sonny's BBQ for restoring my faith in customer service but warming my heart that compassion and kindness still exist. This was my first Sonny's visit and highly impressed !”

“Greek Islands is kind of a secret, but it shouldn't be. My wife turned me on to this family restaurant after I retired. She and her peeps from the Pinellas County School board had been eating lunch here for decades. There is no fresher food or nicer people making and serving it, anywhere. No artificial atmosphere, either. It's like eating at your Greek grandmothers house, in Greece! Treat yourself and your family.”

“Always amazing food when we eat in. What you probably are not aware of is the delivering services that bring us our orders have other orders as well. By the time we eat our first bite, it's getting cold. So many Italian places have there own delivery service. We gladly will pay 5.00 fee with each order and I am sure you can hire a driver knowing that we would get our order in minutes and our food will be nice and hot still. The temperature is a turn off by the time it arrives lately, and is making us think about returning to Joto's instead. I hope you change and get on board with in house delivering. Thank you.”

“Our little family from IL, with 3 teenage boys, needed a good lunch. Our flight the day before was delayed & we didn’t get in until 4:30am the next day. After a little sleep, we had lunch there, based off of the reviews. So glad we did! Smiley is an accurate description - such lovely ladies running the place! But it should also say: amazing food! We love Thai food & Smiley didn’t disappoint. Portions made all 3 teenage boys very happy (hard to do when they’ve missed several meals in a row - totally hangry!) & it was so good. We always try to support small business when we vaca & so glad we did. Give it a try - so good!!!”

“I tried this place because they had a bogo deal going on Uber Eats for a sub and it was either this or Subway who also had a bogo deal.

Oh. My. God. Yes. It seems to be so hard to get a sub just right and this place nailed it. Thick bread but not so thick you can't get your mouth around it. And there's lots of filling instead of just a tiny layer of meat and a single slice of onion but also not so overwhelming you need a fork to eat it with. Best ratio I've found to date. The size is about what you'd get from Publix. Skinny is roughly a 6 inch, that's what I got. This sub is better than anything I've ever had from Subway, Charley's or Publix in my honest opinion, and as you can see, I am very passionate about a good sub lol. I seriously have no reason to ever order from anywhere else for a sub now.

I also love kettle cooked chips and they have Zapps. I tried the hot pepper flavor and it's so good. I love my spicy stuff so the jalapeno ones don't always have enough heat. These are perfect.

The best part - their dream bar is such a specific type of dessert that I absolutely love - an oatmeal bar kind of like the raspberry ones you can get at Whole Foods but theirs is chocolate and caramel. Finding a dessert like this at a sandwich place to go with my sub is a godsend.

My only recommendations: Maybe more of a bread selection, give us something cheesy! And open a location in walking distance of Morton Plant so I can get a sub every day for dinner on my break from work LOL”

“Típico Café Latino (Típico Latino Restaurant), 566 Barton Boulevard, Rockledge, Florida- 5-Stars Although the Hispanic population in Brevard County as of 2022 is a mere 11.6%, their restaurants must make up 35% of the restaurant inventory. Now that I have dined at so many Latin establishments, I feel I am starting to discern the good, the bad, and the horrific. Recently I found myself in Rockledge walking into the unassuming Tipico Café Latino. The place didn't look like much to me at first, and since the most obvious definition of "típico" in English means "typical," I was concerned. Later when I found out that "típico" when referring to food is more about how such a dish represents the most famous local flavor of a region, the name made perfect sense. The food prepared here is the real deal and it's truly outstanding. Don't let the ambiance of this small saloon deter you. Elise is the owner and personally sees to the comfort of her guests. She and her chef are from the Dominican Republic, and their website states that Dominican cuisine has been influenced by indigenous Dominicans as well as settlers from Spain, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Canary Islands, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti (next door on the shared island of Hispaniola), and Hungary. They further indicate that flavor contributions have been made by Sephardic Jews, slaves brought to the Republic by the French in the 17th Century, and freed Blacks who fled from the United States in the 19th Century. From the Menú Típica Latino, I ordered the Típico Fried Platter, and I strongly suggest you do the same. It has everything: Fried Pork, Fried Chicken, Longaniza (Spanish sausage), Salami, Fried Cheese, Casava, and Tostones. Amazing! As the Dominican Republic is only 57 miles southeast of Cuba, it is not surprising that there are also a few expressly classic Cuban dishes on the menu. One of these is the Ropa Vieja/ Shredded Stewed Beef and Vegetables. The rice accompanying this "típica" Cuban dish was cooked perfectly. The beef itself was so tender, its juices so flavorful, that for a moment I experienced zoanthropy, becoming one of Pavlov's dogs salivating just remembering this experience. I pull myself together, remembering I am a human man, and wipe the slobber off my jowls with a towel. THIS IS A BIG BOY MUST TRY! The Big Boy says, "Go see Elise, try the Típico Fried Platter, and, oh yeah, bring your appetite."”

“Clean and classic looking bar. Plenty of comfortable seating at the bar. The bathrooms are clean and working. Minimal menu; the hot dogs are good. All drinks, which there are endless choices, are priced more than fair for todays’ world. There are enough TVs strategically placed , with a pool table and other available games. Kelly provided professional customer service. She was working the bar alone but still gave ALL equal time. I suggest you go and get happy.”

“We called here today after a road trip from Orlando do to orange county choppers and Harley Davidson, we were served by George who is a gem, a real lovely lovely guy, asked us where we were from etc, apologised many times for the shop not having hot fudge but he made up for it with an extra cherry on the top, an excellent server and made sure he said goodbye to us as he was serving at the window and seen us leaving he finished with his customer and made sure we caught his attention so he could say goodbye, I do t know when I will be back in St Pete's could be next year or even the year after but when we do I hope George is still there as we will be calling again, oh and also the ice cream is lovely”

“This place has really gone down hill. Used to be our go to pizza spot but now it’s mediocre at best. Selected delivery and was quoted 45-1hr, which was no problem for us. We live less than 5 mins away. At an 1.15 mins, I called to check the status, they said on the way. No problem. It happens. We ordered a Greek Salad with chicken and it was 100 percent canned chicken (gross!!). We ordered chicken tenders and fries. They sent nuggets and no fries (they had both nuggets and tenders on the menu). Once the food was delivered we realized we didn’t have our fries so called back and they said “we can get those out to you in a bit” I inquired what a bit was, I said we already waited an 1.15 mins he said I’m not sure but more than 15 mins. I said we were quoted 45-1hr originally and the order is wrong. He proceeded to argue with me and said well our delivery time is 1.20 that’s fine but not what we were told. So decided to take the credit instead of having them delivered. The guy was not even remotely apologetic like I was bothering him for making my order wrong. Had the customer service been poor but the food was at least good I wouldn’t have to write a bad review. Sad! 10/10 don’t recommend.”

“Pretty Good We’ve been here for to-go orders in the past. I have lower expectations for to-go since the food is never as hot and fresh as at the restaurant. This time we ate in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and bright and the service is good. We started with the Bao Bun sampler which was delicious. We moved on to the appetizer sampler. The chicken wings and spring rolls were pretty good. The shrimp and Crab Rangoon were only OK and I wouldn’t get them again. Moving on, the Spot Special Banh Mi was very good. The Eye Round Pho was only OK and had a thin flavor. The Chicken Stir Fry with Vegetables was pretty good with a nice flavor, but the chicken had an overly-tenderized and spongy consistency. So, it was hit and miss. I would go back for the Bao Buns and the Banh Mi.”

“We are all only human. Everybody has a bad day from time to time. Bad things happen to good people. TODAY has just been one of those days. I'm going through a lot of personal things at home and it has no affect on my job in anyway. I was just having a bad day probably partially because I was hungry and I was stuck at work and because of the circumstances I didn't have lunch with me. So I ordered from this TJs. Restaurant. Everything about it was perfect the delivery time took an hour but you know what it was well worth the wait if you have the patience because I literally had one of the worst days I've had in a long time today and the first bite I took of that food brought life and my soul back into me. The first bite I took was of the cabbage. I'm talking about God is good all the time. Happy Sunday y'all. I literally cried after eating and got sleepy and wanted to take a nap like a little baby and I remember thanking God for the food and asking for his forgiveness for me being so angry and lashing out like a child earlier that day. Have a blessed prosperous day to all the employees here. A special 5 stars for the cook.”
