The best Mexican food I could eve wish for. I have eaten at dozens of Mexican restuarants in my vast travels around this state and country, and I must honestly say, that Carmelita's is second to none. Their food is Excellent ! Go there once and you will be hooked. It's that good, I promise !
Great food and friendly staff. Also quick service!
The cuisine is exceptional, and the service is outstanding. The chips and salsa are particularly noteworthy, with the salsa being the finest I have ever sampled. I highly recommend the tamales and chile relleno, both of which are consistently excellent. We have consistently experienced positive dining experiences.

Carmelita's Mexican Restaurant is a local eatery that offers delicious and reasonably priced meals. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The menu features a variety of options, including tacos, fajitas with shrimp, chicken, and steak, and a kid's selection. The hot food generally makes up for any slow service, and the sides are modest in size. Some dishes, like the carne asada, can be tough and dry, and a shrimp taco was unexpectedly very spicy. The chicken chimichanga is available, but some find the food to be just okay and a bit pricey these days. Overall, Carmelita's is a decent spot for Mexican cuisine with friendly service and a typical Mexican ambiance.
