“My husband and I always come down to this hotel about 2-3 times a year and love it! Chair rentals, beach service, no car needed as it’s convenient to everything, & the ocean view rooms are great as well with good sized balconies! It’s right on the water and the Restaurant/bar offers great food and drinks as well! We love coming down and always enjoy our stay!!”

“I love coming to the Salty crab. We enjoy the freshed seafood everytime we come here. The service we have had every time we've been here is always been very attentive. Today, Ray was very accommodating and ensured he explained every dish we had questions on (large group) and accommodated all our food requests. We have never had a bad experience. My children enjoy everything on the kids menu, and we enjoy the specialty drinks too. We will be back..again”

“I have this a one star review on google a few months ago. However Jeff has really outdone himself with this place. Turned into a great place especially for sports and food. The food wasn’t all that when I was there a few months ago but Jeff has really turned it around to a successful place. Love the new menu. Moved back north and can’t wait to visit when we visit in the winter. FYI seafood bar junk is still my favorite. Good job Jeff and best of luck”

“Second time here,the first time was a Saturday and service was great they had a few workers and everything was great. Today on a Monday 2 workers they seemed very overwhelmed but very kind and kept apologizing to everyone. Obviously they need more then two workers. People are on vacation even on Mondays. One guy waited pry 20 minutes for his iced coffee. My cold brew wasn’t even a full cup $5.50. Still good and I’ll still come again but I sure hope management makes a change and gives the two girls working this morning 5/22 @ 10 am a bonus as they are working hard and the line is going out the door, some are leaving. To top it off the bathroom is out of order.”

“We ordered takeout from King’s Pizza & Grill while staying nearby, and overall we had a good experience. It’s obvious this place is popular. The restaurant was packed when I arrived, with customers dining inside and outside and a line of at least five people waiting to pick up orders.

The employee who took our order over the phone was friendly, although the restaurant was very loud and they had trouble hearing me. I had to repeat the order several times, including a special request for my daughter’s meal: spaghetti noodles with butter only and no sauce. They repeated the order back correctly, gave me the total, and said it would be ready in 30 minutes.

When I arrived, the food was ready right away, which was great. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel, my daughter opened her meal and discovered it had sauce on it after all. It seems the special request was lost somewhere between taking the order and preparing it.

That small mishap is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. The pizza itself was delicious, and despite the mix-up, I can absolutely see why this place stays so busy. We’d definitely consider ordering from here again.”

“We checked into the hotel and figured we’d go to the rooftop for a quick lunch because we were starved and it was right at the hotel. We didn’t expect a whole lot but what we got was awesome!!! We met Eric who is fabulous and we pretty well ended up spending the day and night there, (it’s not typical for us to hang at a bar). After Eric left, we met Tyler and Brandon. They were tons of fun, too. The food was fabulous as well and we had a blast!!! We went back the next night and we will be back again tonight! This place is great!!!!”

“We sat at outdoor tiki tables and had lunch and a few drinks with great views. The nachos with chicken were so good. The drinks were ice cold and made to perfection. Our server Heather was on point. “Burgers aren’t very good. Tastes like a premade frozen patty. Every pool bar should have a solid burger. Chips and salsa were great, elote corn dip was phenomenal. Milkshakes were a little different with ice blended in but it gave it a nice light texture, overall very good.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! We'll start with valet huge shout out to Craig he was absolutely awesome and has amazing customer service. This place has a tiki bar live music a private beach that you can drink on with picnic tables to eat at. There's a huge stage that hosts live bands on the weekends there's a really nice dance floor with table surrounding it. There's a waitress named Kayla that was top tier. As busy as they were she made sure she was attentive alert and provide an amazing customer service I cannot wait to go back the vibe here and atmosphere is indescribable I will definitely be back”

“My husband and I dined here last night, what an amazing hidden gem!!! I had the chicken parmesan and hubby had the stuffed sole. Melissa was our server who made our experience even more enjoyable, she's got a great personality. Also the desserts were delicious limoncello pie and peanut butter pie also espresso martini. “The food was top notch or as our outstanding server (Blake) put it "they make everything the hard way, from scratch". We liked it so much we booked a table for New Years Eve and again were wowed by the food and the service. The one drawback was the host stand supervisor. She was snotty and imperious and could really use some training in basic customer service. Once you make it past her you will be rewarded with a wonderful and memorable meal. I would highly recommend the place and look forward to returning again.”

“What a walk down memory lane this is!!! We haven’t been to Bobby’s Bistro, or its more upscale sister restaurant the Beachcomber in years. Twenty years ago, these two restaurants were the absolute “It” place, the best in Tampa. Amazingly, the decor is exactly the same as 20 years ago but somehow doesn’t look dated at all. The food was fantastic. We met George, our server, who is a bit of a celebrity, and he was super nice and gave me a supersized shot! Glad to give this notable establishment a great review!”
