“This may be the easiest review ever! This place is my new favorite. I had my birthday dinner here in March and it was probably the best experience I have had with a restaurant and a large party. Everything was perfect, the staff the food the service the ease of everything. I requested the "Party Room" as they call it at the Clearwater location. They let me decorate to my liking and never once were we in need of anything (our party had 20 people) all at the same time their regular restaurant was full on a Saturday night. They offer 2 for 1 drinks during the week 2-6 and let me tell you if you drink sangria the red is delicious, and strong. This place is just so fun, we have a blast no matter if we are here for drinks, dinner or a large party. The staff is attentive, and fun. 5+++ stars, more if I could give it.“

We got steak and chicken tacos, rice and beans, and Jose made sure we had all of the trimmings for the tacos. Everything was ready on time and packed so well. Not much of a crowd, but I came in for takeout around 930pm on a Monday. They are open til 1am each night which is a nice bonus!

Tried their steak tacos and a quesadilla and thought both were pretty great!

We will add them to the rotation! I now frequent at least twice a month, Taco Salad is also crazy good!

“First time eating there today for taco Tuesday, at $1.70 per taco! We are from Colorado and so we know about great authentic Mexican food. Very clean and organized building. Great service coupled with excellent Mexican food. Israel was our waiter and he was very pleasant. Everything was done super-fast and with very friendly genuine people. Voted best Mexican restaurant in Pinellas Park in 2026 and 2025; stop in and you will NOT be disappointed. Enjoy! Oh happy hour starts at 3pm daily! You will love it.“

I always find the pricing for food trucks (not servicing an event) to be kind of odd in that its generally always higher than an equivalent restaurant which seems counter intuitive to the lower costs. Tacos el Primo follows suit in this regard. Overall its decent if your in the area.“

“This was my first time visiting this spot. If you want authentic, delicious Mexican food, come here! We had their chips and queso with chorizo added. We also got their fiesta chicken burrito, a carne asada burrito and some fried ice cream. The burritos are huge, the queso is thick and the salsa isn't watery like some places.
