“I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food and this place was great! I took the leap of faith and tried the Birria Ramen… just WOW! Additionally Carlos and team did a great job accommodating our large table of 13. We will definitely be back.“
“Surprise. Quality Mexican in SPB. Ingredients are top shelf. Several experiences with quesadillas, fajitas, pork dishes, fish-all positive. You can order top-shelf margaritas. Whiny reviews on this site complain about the charge for chips but you get multiple things to go with the chips including several salsas, other toppings. Hands on family management.“
“My son and I decided to try something new rather than our usual Mexican restaurant favorites, and we will both be returning...in fact, the tacos we sampled were among the best either of us have had.The birria, carne asada, camarones, and al pastor tacos were all delicious...quality meats and shrimp, delectably seasoned in nice portions. The sauces are freshly made and add amazing flavor. We'll definitely return to try more of the menu!“
“I happened to be in the Saint Pete area and friends took me to VIP For lunch. The food was great and the margaritas were amazing! I can’t wait to go back there next time I’m in the area!Parking: There’s a few free parking spots, but most of them you have to pay for whether it’s in the lot or on the street.“
“Super flavorful and delish! We loved the Umami and Yard Bird bowls + the lime ginger coconut juice. Their sauces are bomb, and I want to try them all.I like to eat vegetarian and totally would here in the future because everything is super flavorful, even the beans.“
“I had a shredded beef tostada with everything, & a side of refried beans. The tostada was delicious, but the refried beans not so much. They were more like refried beans soup. Not much flavor & unappetizing texture. Their refrieds used to be really good. The patio is cute & comfortable.“
“Absolutely loved my lunch experience at Casita Taqueria in the heart of St. Petersburg's vibrant Grand Central District! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff making me feel right at home. The tacos were simply delicious - bursting with flavor and freshness, and the variety of toppings and salsas provided the perfect kick. Highly recommend trying their homemade chips and guac too - so tasty!Marisa Balletti-Lavoie“
“Can’t say enough about this place! From the high quality food to the exceptional service — this place is a MUST. Angela was incredible. She was sweet with our kids and makes the best guacamole we’ve ever had. We are here for a week and we will absolutely be back. ♥️“
“Service was great with the right amount of communication, accomodating & met all my needs. What I loved most about the food is that it had flavor yet wasn't super spicy. I noticed the same about the sauces, not too spicy.Parking: This restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking.“
“First time visiting and this was recommended to us. We went at 3pm on a Thursday afternoon and the food and service were very good. We sat outside, and they had plenty of shade. I got the wet burrito with rice and beans and had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. We would absolutely come here again.“
“We had such an enjoyable experience on the deck. Our server was both fun and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed a margarita tower/flight with Grand Marnier. For an appetizer, we had chips and queso, salsa, and guacamole - all tasty. For entrées we had delicious portobello tacos and chicken tostados. We had a celebratory fried ice cream for my birthday dessert.Vegetarian options: Had a few good options.Kid-friendliness: Many children were up on the deck and seemed to be having a good time.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the upper levels; an elevator is available. The restroom appeared accessible as well.“
“Went in last night randomly! Made me miss Texas. The staff was phucking phenomenal! We will be back. Shout out to Saverio at the bar! He was cool as an ice cube. Thanks for an amazing experience and badddd assssss food!!!!! ❤️ you guys!!!“
“This place is a hidden gem !! By far the best food in the area !! I don’t want to call is Mexican , Spanish or Latin food . Food this good isn’t from a place it is from a persons love to cook !! I stop in anytime I am close by and have had something different every time. From the taco to the enchiladas. From the quesadillas to the burritos. It has been top notch and puts a smile on my face every time . Thank you Maria for all the good food!!“
“Excellent food at a reasonable price, delivered by someone with a smile. We always leave happy.Parking: Although there are plenty of parking spots, they can fill up quickly around the busy times.Wheelchair accessibility: One story with a ramp, but no automatic doors.“
“We were warmly greeted when we entered Casita Taqueria. The cashier went over the most popular items on the menu. I got three tacos: carne asada, shrimp and brussel sprouts. All three were very good.My hubby got the carnitas bowl. The carnitas were well cooked and not too dry and not too wet. There is parking in front and in the back.“
“You go to Senior Taco for its authenticity and service. This is not a classy-looking romantic dining experience or hipster place, it's just good. Total dive, but the employees will take good care of you and you will leave satisfied and full.“
“Food is amazing as is the service!! Best people you will ever meet and you always feel welcome and at home. We come here often and have never once had a bad meal or bad service - to C Allison - we witnessed your tirade and your reported experience simply never happened. You were rude, impatient and lied about being a police officer and started taking photos of the manager when you were completely out of line and delusional. I truly hope you mean it when you say you won’t be back because no one wants to see you in this wonderful establishment again.“
“Was having trouble finding food everyone would agree on and ended up stumbling upon this restaurant, at first we were a little skeptical but ended up absolutely loving it! We were seated immediately and the food came out pretty fast. Everything we ordered was perfect and tasted amazing and fresh. The menu has so many options and even includes a kids menu with a lot of the basics like chicken fingers and quesadillas and there is just a huge range of food to pick from even being able to customize what you want, as well as being way more affordable than most hotel restaurants. Overall I rate the experience a 10/10 and would highly recommend it!“
“Awesome deal for tacos! Had the beer battered grouper fish tacos on soft corn tortillas. Incredible flavor, and great portions for the price! Paid $5 for two and it’s definitely filling enough for a meal. Best spot on Treasure Isalnd for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. Will definitely return!!“
“EXCELLENT freshly made Mexican food. It's my new favorite restaurant. Very small restaurant, in a strip center, that has about six tables - and a drive-up window! They also have vegetarian options and their veggie tacos were fabulous! Staff is super friendly and prices are inexpensive for the large portion sizes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
“Came in on lunch break, was drawn in by the authentic Mexican food sign and colorful building. And I have to say, from the friendly personalities behind the counter to the generous portions to the music and layout of the restaurant, it does not get more authentic than this place. The food was great, and quick to the table. These guys do a great job and I'll be sure to recommend.“
“Stumbled upon this little gem, doing a Google search and a craving for Mexican. It reminds me of the little eateries in Mexico. You can order off menu or do the buffet. We chose the buffet, and was disappointed. Las comidas muy fantastico y delicioso.“
“A bunch of us from church (city on a hill) came for lunch today. We almost filled the space. The staff moved quickly, the food was so so good, and the service was excellent! Definitely recommend you giving this place a try. I'll be back.“
“Great little hidden gem here in gulfport. Service is friendly, we got two club sandwiches, one all turkey, an iced tea and two bags of chips for about $18, which is a fantastic price in my book. Breakfast looks good and prices are very fair. I'll definitely be back.“
“We went here on Saturday evening for dinner. We asked to be seated at the patio and enjoyed the charming outside ambience. We both ordered a drink, me a margarita classic and he a Modelo. We also got chips and queso and the mofongo. Both came out quickly and were delicious! For main meal we got 2 each of tacos Al a carte. We chose to try the poke taco and the duck taco. Both were very pretty and flavorful.Overall we had a good experience and will go again as there are more menu options I want to try.Things of note, all parking in the area costs regardless of street side or garage. The men's restroom is up a spiral staircase. I don't know if they have a elevator. The ladies and family bathroom is near the bar.“
“Amazing food and atmosphere the waitress I never got her name petite Spanish young woman said she’s 21 cause she looks so young I asked was so sweet to my kids and us very attentive and the food was phenomenal I recommend to everyone to come try it out“
“Food was good and the restaurant was clean. Two important things I look for. The kitchen was short handed but the waiter was good about keeping drinks full and multicolored chips were warm. I love their salsa not too spicy and chunky with fresh tomato and onion. My husband and I ordered the 25A combo: tostada, taco, and enchilada.Parking: We went during peak dinner hours and there are three different restaurants in this mini plaza. You might not be able to park very close to the restaurant depending on the time you go.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking and wheelchair accessible“
“This place was really good! The wet burrito (don't remember the actual name) is fantastic and wet haha. The birria is great as well. Kids meal quesadilla was really good and comes with chips as well! Definitely a nice little Mexican place if all other restaurants are busy. This one is an order first and you sit down after. So no table service. Outdoor seating is limited and not in the parking lot so no views of anything nice haha. Still great food!“
“We live right down the street from here and we visit at least 1 time every 2 weeks if not every week! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The tacos and salsa are soooo good!! Honestly I think the salsas have the best burn of all the hot sauce I've had! The recently yellow/green one has been the best one so far!! I love a heat that hits all over!“
“So I found this place by a simple google search and we love AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food. When we pulled up we were a little hesitant, as the outside is not conducive to what’s on the inside. We went in anyway..and were pleasantly surprised! Our server Blanca was very friendly and attentive and provided EXCELLENT SERVICE! As we were sitting the restaurant began to fill up and this was a Thursday evening, so it’s obviously a hidden gem that I’m thrilled to have discovered. The burrito I had - burrito verde - was phenomenal and bursting with flavor and filling and it was ENORMOUS (which I was very happy about)! My husband had the fajitas and they smelled and looked wonderful. Carnitas taco ??????! The meat was tender and juicy. The guacamole is good just needed a little salt and the margarita was just ok but I wasn’t there for drinks so that doesn’t change anything for me.You must go and be hungry when you get there.“
“We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I had the shredded pork dinner. It was very good. I couldn't finish it all. They gave my daughter this sweet tortilla dessert with carmel and chocolate syrup drizzled on it and whipped cream. Looked really good.“
“My go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant when I'm looking for traditional food. The chili rellenos are my fav and their super spicy salsas are delish (request in addition to the salsa they bring with chips). Service is always prompt and friendly. They've done some improvements over the years on inside to improve the ambiance that have made it a place you don't just order to-go.“
“We came in early as they were just opening. Despite hitting them hard with a big group of 12 they were nothing but accommodating. It was a long weekend and this was the perfect place to end it. Abigale was super attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. She even overheard it was my birthday and made a little cake appear at the end. Cool atmosphere and great staff.“
“Love this place…so incredibly lucky that this truck is walking distance from home. Amazing tacos- the best in st pete probably. And 3 super fills me up for lunch…at only 3 bucks a piece they have the best deal going to. Freshest ingredients. Homemade tortilla. Just perfection. Al Pastor tacos is the move- thank me later. The rest of the small menu is great too. I usually pass on rice and beans at Mexican restaurants, but here I find myself ordering it in addition to my tacos sometimes. Exceptional. And the guys that run it are great too- very friendly. Poco Inglés….but it’s never a problem at all ????Parking: Not an issueKid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome here“
“? Nitally’s Thai-Mex fusionArguably one of my favorite restaurant lunches I’ve had in a really long time. Their menu was extensive which made my decision way too hard. I 100% chose the best possible option though. PLEASE order the Thai Mex Curry. It’s a perfect blend of unique Thai spices and herbs and smokier Mexican spices. Very large portions, you could have 2 more servings even! I will definitely be ordering this same curry next time I visit St. Pete. Their mole burrito is also worth mentioning, very tasty!“
“The Taco Lady Food Truck is awesome!!! We hosted a party at our house and everyone loved the food, tacos - bowls - quesadillas and great side dishes. Taylor & her mom are the nicest people and they are so professional to do business with. The most authentic and delicious Mexican food around!10 out of 10 ??Kevin & Charlene“
“I’m not a vegetarian, but my husband is. He ordered the jackfruit quesabirria tacos (They also have different meat options.), and they are, without a doubt, some of the best I’ve eaten! I have no idea how they get so much flavor in something meatless. I’m looking forward to trying the others. Make sure to get a side of their beans! They’re fire!!“

“Love this place however after our last visit it might be a challenge to get the boyfriend to go back...he said his enchilada dish tasted as though it was frozen and reheated, The ends were hard and dry as if they had been reheated in the microwave...so sad about “
“This is one of my go-to places in Pinellas. The carne asada is fantastic, they cook the tortillas right in front of you, and it’s got a unique variety of toppings. They also have an app that you can order online from. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We were greeted by several employees, all very cheerful & friendly. The restroom was clean , the patio was clean , and the restaurant was clean. 3 separate employees asked us "is everything ok?" And then the manager came out to greet everyone. The food arrived quickly, and was a large portion. Best service I've ever had in a restaurant. Great job to everyone!“
“We just experienced this lovely restaurant on fourth Street in Saint Pete for the first time… We had the loveliest and hardest working bartender Carissa! What a pleasure! Five stars! We will be returning soon! Food and service was way beyond their expectations?“
“We were out of eggs so I decided to be lazy and have breakfast delivered. Had the meat lover's burrito and, holy cow! Didn't expect it to be that big. Couldn't finish, but it was so good! Will definitely order from this place again.“
“Finally found a Mexican Restaurant that has cheese Enchiladas with Chili Con Carne. So happy we won't have to drive to Orlando anymore. Chips are included with refills and that is that is a major benefit vs another Mexican Restaurant that we quit going to because of that. We will return here for the food though the service is still in new stage which is understandable.“
“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! been there in person a month ago and everything was perfect. Then tonight I did Uber Eats and they delivered deliciousness again!! 10 out of 105 ⭐️My belly is so happy, you know when you love something so much you do the food happy dance!I HIGHLY recommend that you go there it’s SOOOOOOOO good!“
“The food was amazing!!!! Sooo delicious. Our kids loved it too. Love all the painted chairs and decorations everywhere. Been craving the food all week and am excited to come backParking: Large parking lot in a shopping centerKid-friendliness: Not a quiet restaurant so you do t have to worry if your kids are too loud.“
“Authentic Mex, through and through! Stop in and try their birria tacos, you will not be disappointed! They even serve tacos de lengua y tripa if you really want the full rancho experience. La Gloria is a great find for being on the East Coast.“
“I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Moe's Southwest Grill! The food was beyond amazing, bursting with flavor and freshness. The staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend Moe's.“
“TJs is always a treat! The employees here are always friendly, quick, and efficient.I usually get a beef burrito as a meal with an extra Pineapple Jarritos on the side. The portions are great and the food is delicious.I highly recommend swinging by for a meal. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there's a pond that adds a nice ambiance to the environment. They also cater, so keep them in mind for your next office party!“
“This was a delightful hidden gem to come across on the beach strip. Most of the beach restaurants rely on tourists to come by and so the prices can be inflated but not this spot. My husband and I ate there on Tuesday night for the first time and can happily say we will be back (and were local). Here are our pros and cons:Pro:-Free Chips and Salsa (first 2 round on the house). Chips were fresh, hot and had flakes of sea salt rather than super salty seasoning.-It was Taco Tuesday and so the three taco plate was $3 off normal rate.-I ordered the quesadilla and asked to add veggies (as i'm a pescatarian). The veggies ended up being broccoli, carrots, peppers, onions and zucchini! Great blend and I liked that they were not over cooked. Also came with a buttery rice. There was a orange salsa on the side that was absolutely delish!- Blackened fish tacos (well seasoned)- Rice and beans side dish was flavorful. It's pinto beans. We appreciated that they were not overcooked/mushy.Con (but not really):-After being seated it took them a little longer than normal to figure out who was going to be our server. Not a huge deal though as we had a few people at least stop by, give water and check-in on us as they figured it out internally. It was Taco Tuesday so I figured they also just got seated all at once and needed to space it out for staffing/kitchen.“
