“We were not expecting the quality this place delivers. Went with my family who are mild sushi fans, they were happy with the place but i was very positively surprised by both quality of rolls and service level.I’d love to go back for a more thorough experience. Definitely recommend for sushi/japanese option.“
“Went there and bought the T-Shirt...... Literally. We had been passed Salty's a few times in our few days in Clearwater and there was always something going on in respect of live music and we dropped in on our last night. It was a Monday night so wasn't overly busy and a chap with a guitar playing by the door and we sat upstairs over looking the street. Our server was Abigail (i think it was) who was lovely. The service in general was quick and efficient and even when my youngest asked for Cherry Pepsi and they didn't do it Abigail suggested adding a cherry flavour they had to the normal Pepsi and it went down a storm. The food was really good and there wasn't so much you couldn't finish it but wasn't piled up either. My eldest loves a burger and said it was one of the best he had out there and my wife had the Thai Chicken for something different and really enjoyed it. I had the Salty's Chicken burger which wasn't all dried out as ive had in other places.Price wise it was all average for what we had experienced in the US, our meal for 4 with a couple of soft drinks and one bottle of cider was about 70 bucks and ive a liking for the Angry Orchard cider that the chain seems to do.Naturally I got a T-Shirt from there (I'm usually a large and had to go XL so watch the sizes when you buy!) and you get 10% off with the diner receipt.“
“Cute and casual wine bar! They offer a Sangria and Tacos special on Tuesdays and sangria is perfect for those who enjoy the drink without a plethora of fruit in the glass, just refreshing juice and ice. Noe helped us out and we enjoyed watching him work on a future art installation for the bar. Their spicy chili oil tacos were OUTSTANDING, I asked about the spice factor, and was reassured it was flavor over flame, just my kind of dish. All the stars, will come back!“
“Such a cute and fun little spot! Our hotel was like 2 doors down, so we would just walk out to the beach, on hot days it was great to stop in here and grab ice cream for my girls! Everyone was very friendly when we were there! I also stopped in several times for a coffee!“
“Service was quick when I went for food & drinks in the later afternoon/early evening and also when I went back for the nightly live music throughout my stay. The bar was across the street from my hotel so very convenient and close by, but I could also sit on my balcony from my hotel and enjoy the music as well! Pricing is very decent, especially if you pay a little more for the collectible cups!“
“We really enjoyed our meal here. Pizza, spaghetti marinara, and the special; manicotti. Everything was super delicious! The view from the patio was lovely, and our server was very personable. In fact all the servers seemed pleasant and worked together as it was a very busy night. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because it took and hour to get our meal. It was Easter Monday and apparently they only had one person in the kitchen. We were told it would be slow.We will definitely be coming back!“
“Amazing fresh food all around at our table or meals! Grouper tacos were awesome, my son liked his wings and my daughter the fettuccine Alfredo! Nice staff and just seemed to be a fun crowd overall -ate at a high top near the bar. Would go back —and might before our trip is over!“
“Our server Alyssa was awesome, we'll start there. We stopped by for Taco Tuesday and had the option of 3 beef or chicken tacos for $8.99 which was well worth it,yummy. We also tried the grouper sandwich which my husband thought was too fishy but I liked it. The Pina Colada was a good amount for the price but it seemed to be missing the pineapple flavor, coconut and a little bit of pineapple, ok but not great. Extremely friendly staff, from the host to Alyssa to someone else who we asked a question. They're going to become the Beachside Cafe I believe and we wish them well!“
“We arrived around 10am. per other reviews we asked how long to expect, man at the counter told us about 15 min, our food came out in 10. The chicken cordon Bleu crepe was phenomenal, exceeded expectations (which admittedly weren’t too high for a quick service restaurant. You are given a remote device to notify you when your food is ready which probably leads to confusion around how empty it looks vs wait times. Highly recommend.“
“Great experience! We loved the old school vibe of the dining room. We had a fantastic banquette table in the section of the dining room that is a step up, and we loved looking around and admiring the atmosphere. The scallops and snapper were delicious! The baked Alaska for dessert was incredible and huge! I wish I had more room to eat it all, but unfortunately could only get through half. The only thing that we didn't enjoy the was the espresso martini. I LOVE espresso martinis and this one was not very good. I'm not sure how they prepare it, but I think they should revisit their recipe. All in all, a great experience!“
“This tiny gem of a bakery/breakfast place is worth finding. Tina and her team are non-stop An amazingly calm barista works there, the muffins are tender and tasty, and the egg sandwiches are large and perfectly cooked. We intended to go once and instead went three times in four days.“
