Navigate Tarpon Springs' Mexican food scene with Restaurantji's recommendations.
“D T M R is a hidden gem, with the most excellent Mexican food. I had steak birria , and it was the best that I have ever had, the broth melded perfectly for dipping my flour tacos in. I also had horchata which was super good... #1cousin had a trio of lamb, barbecoa, and brisket she loved them all but said the brisket was a little salty... I am a big fan of tacos with Cabeza de vaca, and lengua, and plan to to get them along with some delectable looking chicharron when I come back...“
“Great local restaurant with affordable breakfast and lunch. Conveniently located on corner with plenty of parking right on Alt 19 and MLK. Just a couple blocks off main street in Tarpon Springs. We walked over off the pinellas trail and had great breakfast! Liked the pancakes and club sandwich.“
“We got done golfing 18 holes and asked the golf course employee for a Mexican food recommendation. He recommended this place. We ate across the street at the Hacienda a couple of days prior and it was "meh?" I believe this is the best Mexican cuisine I've had in years. There is something about authentic and this is as close as it gets. The bar area is kind of weathered, tattered and dark. The restaurant seating seemed ok. We like a rugged atmosphere so if you're picky, this ain't the place. We simply loved the food and will go again just to make sure.“
“Had a wonderful dinner here, it wasn't busy at all, but it should be. The food and drinks were great, the Arroz Con Pollo was excellent, the guacamole was very tasty and our server and service was excellent. Hope I can return very very soon.“
“I spent a lot of years in the Southwest and searched and searched for good Mexican food when I moved. They have the best! Everything is good and the people are great. I feel like I'm at my cousin's house. I highly recommend Papasitos!“
