4 Best Italian Restaurants near Clearwater Beach

“We ordered takeout from King’s Pizza & Grill while staying nearby, and overall we had a good experience. It’s obvious this place is popular. The restaurant was packed when I arrived, with customers dining inside and outside and a line of at least five people waiting to pick up orders.

The employee who took our order over the phone was friendly, although the restaurant was very loud and they had trouble hearing me. I had to repeat the order several times, including a special request for my daughter’s meal: spaghetti noodles with butter only and no sauce. They repeated the order back correctly, gave me the total, and said it would be ready in 30 minutes.

When I arrived, the food was ready right away, which was great. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel, my daughter opened her meal and discovered it had sauce on it after all. It seems the special request was lost somewhere between taking the order and preparing it.

That small mishap is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. The pizza itself was delicious, and despite the mix-up, I can absolutely see why this place stays so busy. We’d definitely consider ordering from here again.“
