From the moment you step through the door, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel like you've been transported to the heart of Italy. The owner is what I call fresh off the boat, and many of his staff reflect the flavor and ambiance you would expect in Italy The menu offers a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes that cater to all tastes, and all the pasta is made in house! Taste and Presentation We started with a special appetizer for the night which was a Homemade Tortellini stuff with Italian cheese and white truffle in a white cream sauce. Then for entrees we had Filetto al Barolo a 8oz Filet Mignon in red wine sauce, served with mushrooms, vegetables, and house potatoes, and the night special which was a Branzino filet with mussels and clams topped with a red sauce. The filet was cooked to absolute perfection, the Barolo wine reduction is a symphony of flavors and truly complemented the meat, The presentation was equally impressive, with an artful arrangement that highlighted the dish's elegance and with a side of perfectly cooked mushrooms, zucchini, and potatoes. and a choice of potato accompaniment The Branzino was a true celebration of the sea, a dish that impeccably combines freshness, flavor, and culinary artistry. He was constantly attentive to our table, always asking us how things were doing, tasting, and making sure we were well taken care of. I observed him around the restaurant and his passion for people and really creating an amazing guest experience was top notch. The Italian décor, soft lighting, and the piano truly created an intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a celebration with friends and family. “We decided to finally give this place a try after drinking past it several times.

The food was amazing. My wife got the gnocchi pesto and it was pretty good, a bit light on the salt but easily corrective. I had a Philly cheese steak and oh my god, that bread was soft inside and had a good crust, the streak was well cooked and it tasted amazing.

The service was good! The two owners where very kind and attentive.

And the atmosphere is also great! Small restaurant so it kind of gave me a cozy vibe.“

The service was phenomenal! Gina, one of the bartenders is the best!! On top of great service, she's such a delight! The waitresses were all super sweet and extremely tentative.

I had the chicken parm, and it was probably the best I've had from a restaurant! The chicken was seasoned and breaded perfectly, juicy and delicious. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce you can tell is made with love!

We visited Chicago back in 2019 and we really enjoyed the food there so we decided to drop on by to give Paul’s a try. We ordered a small tavern style pizza, wings, and cheese fries. Everything we ordered was well cooked and tasted delicious. When I took my first bite of the pizza, I felt like I was back in Chicago. “I was so very happy after Madison came to Dunedin. I have been eating at Madison for years now and everything I have eaten there has been outstanding. on 11/29/25 we ordered two pizzas for delivery and the total with tip was 70 plus dollars and that's ok for a great product but, it wasn't, the pizza was dry from little sauce and the lite amount cheese on the pizza, but that can happen by mistake. It's now the next day Sunday11/30/25 and getting ready for Bucs football and time to order food so I'm thinking i will order Madison pizza again to fill the craving for a great Madison pizza that didn't get filled by the pizza I had the night before and to confirm that it was just one time thing. I ordered my pizza and picked it up and came home and started eating it right away so it would be hot and fresh and to my disappoint the pizza is the same as last night, dry and little cheese. I'm going to try it again next week and give it another chance and then come back and edit this review and hopefully have a more positive review. I will still continue to eat the many other Great items on the menu and would encourage anyone reading this review to go and try this place out because over all its a great place to eat with a great atmosphere and very clean.“
