“Good Food, but Rushed We were the first customers of the day—early for us. I think the servers meant well, but everything was rushed. I felt like I was in a fast casual restaurant rather than a place where I would spend $125 for the two of us. Slow it down a bit and let us digest for a minute before dropping the next course. The food was good. We started with the recommended Bruschetta. It isn’t typical. Instead, the topping is in an accompanying bowl. The topping was delicious—how can you go wrong with tomatoes, basil and garlic in balsamic vinegar? We then shared a bowl of their special tomato bisque and it was delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad which my wife thought was too garlicy (I’m not sure that’s possible), so I ate her share. The server had asked me if I did or didn’t want anchovies on my salad so I said sure, but on the side. I had no idea that I’d be charged an extra $2.50, especially since it didn’t say that on the menu. Shame, shame. For mains I had the Pasta Pescatore which was good, but a little oily. My wife had the Chicken Piccata which she enjoyed. We accompanied those with some wines by the glass from their decent collection and they were fairly priced. I might go back, but I’d be clear with the server about not being rushed.“

“I very seldom write a review but our experience at Gigis on Treasure Island last night was exceptional. The food was excellent but even if it had not been, the service was so exceptional we would not have noticed. I called him the ghost server. Every time I would start to ask for something it was already on our table and we never saw it delivered. If you want exceptional service ask for Hiram the next time you eat there. You will not be disappointed.“

I don't even know where to begin, the garlic knots I can't stop buying them every few days I just have to have them in the house I have them when I have a salad or if I'm in a hurry and I have a microwave dinner it turns it into a real meal. the pizza is the greatest in the entire County and the meatball sub I can't get enough of them. “I went to eat here for the first time today with friends I used to work with. We heard that the owner used to work at Italia Mia which is now closed and now own this restaurant. We always had a salad and pizza there so we ordered the same thing here. The sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pizza was absolutely delicious. The thin crust was incredible!! Nice ambience also.“

It’s one of those meals where you take a bite and you’re like, “Yup. This is it.” But what made it even better? I got to chat with the CEO and the manager. Like, actual real convo—not just small talk. They were so chill, super welcoming, and you can tell they really care about what they do and who walks through their doors. “I waited a very long time to get my to go pizza, it wasn’t because it was not made yet, because it was warm not hot like previous ones, when it was handed to me. Having watched the petite brunette gather in a huddle with her coworker, her conversation in front of waiting customers is rude. Especially when you can hear their negativity! Sunday is a hectic day already, getting ready for the work week and I was left feeling like I was interrupting the petite brunette gossiping about your other employees in ear shot. Customers didn’t come first yesterday and her conversation was a detriment to others in my opinion! Watch out for that one IMO.“
