“Went on our last night staying in the area!! I wish I remembered everyone's names the bartender and the servers.

We took wings to go which were soooo delicious to eat out at the beach.

As we waited we had a drink at the bar.

But they were all so nice and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wish we went the the first night we got there. We would have went back multiple times.

Relaxing, fun, good food and great people.

“Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Pete's Diner! They very kindly arranged to deliver a turkey dinner today to my brother (who lives in Dunedin and is recovering at home after surgery). Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. We are deeply grateful to Pete's Diner for the extraordinary Thanksgiving dinner they prepared, and delivered!!!!“

“My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..“

Now that the original and best Chef Roger is back after an absence for a few years, it is even more fantastic and every single dish is full of quality and flavor! It was not the same when he was away. I recommend you go and enjoy Roger's amazing menu. The servers are all too notch, especially Woody, Jason, and Brittany! “Party of three arrived at 5:30 on Sunday Oct. 4, 2026 to celebrate a 56 year wedding anniversary. We were seated promply and assigned Ariana as a waitress, who is responsible for most of this 5 star rating. We ordered two mixed drinks and one wine and found that the bartender mixed the drinks perfectly, (unlike another restaurant in the area we tried for the first time which we suggest you stay away from, "Prohibition"). One of the managers named "Dan" stopped at our table and had a meaningful conversation that was not a "required", ("How are you, is everything ok?"), kind of scripted/required in his job description, because he took a real interest in who we were, where we were from and what brought us to his restaurant that evening. Refreshing change from the normal Florida shuffle! Ariana, took the time to show us an "October fest" menu and we made our menu selections which took a surprising SHORT time to prepair. There was one lamb chop dish, one steak auPoivre and a Ahi Tuna. All these dishes were prepaired PERFECTLY, which reflects on the new Chef that has been recently acquired according to our waitress. Undoubtly, the best meal the three of us have had in a long time in Florida! I would have rated this experience higher than 5, if I could, and I wasn't "seated near a window", which after reading some of this restaurant's other reviews, seems to be the basis of their bad reviews. I am sure those reviewers would be better served eating at a hot dog stand with a view of the beach, which would leave more room in a restaurant like Bon Appetit for those of us who are looking for those very hard to find qualities supplied by this establishment in a Florida dining experience!“

“Hats off to the friendly staff! We were Florida July Sunshine hot after 1.5 hours at Tampa Bay Downs Golf Range and were looking forward to a cool TBBC brew and some ice water. Ginger was our server, awesome, she was perfect. We will be requesting her tables any time we return. She was kindly patient with us as we got our act together, ordered the ESPE Blonde and my better half greatly enjoyed the “The Last Days of Summer” sour. The food was surprisingly fantastic! They also have wood fire pizzas, which we will returning to try. Highly recommend!“

The decor was so cute it reminded me of my mother's own living room with the lamps and the chairs right from her own dining room. “August - 21st. I was there for a group social event.
We had about 40-people and we managed to grab four of the large high-top tables in the bar area.
We had two excellent servers this night and they were on point at all times. I didn't eat, but many of those that did said the food was very good.
At about 7-pm the band started and many of our gang headed to the dance floor to cut loose!
It was a bit loud but that's how it goes in a large bar with a band.
All in all a very fun night for our people. I highly recommend L.B.C Brewing Company of Palm Harbor!“

“I would really like to thank the staff of Thirsty Marlin especially my server Smiley. He’s taken care of me before. But today. He went above and beyond. It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. Bonnie at the front desk then gave our group a tour of the hotel amenities and shared the history of the property. We finished our evening at the rooftop Hifi Bar at sunset. it was a lovely start to our annual Mother's Day Weekend Celebration and we will definitely be back for Frose and Croquet.“
