I’ve had alot of sushi but this is by far the best sushi in town period! Larry and the staff are super friendly and the food is phenomenal! I wish I could give more than 5 stars Bc the food and hospitality is amazing! Definitely going back!
Omg the sushi is sooo delicious! The meat and the rice are very noticeably fresh! And the owner is very creative with the ingredients in the rolls. This place is Top 3 in Sarasota (as far as sushi itself), hands-down. And the owner, Larry, is always so nice! My favorite sushi specialty rolls here, so far, are the “One” and the “Asahi”. 😋

Blue Koi Sushi is a family-owned restaurant, excellent for both takeout and small atmosphere dine-in. The food is outstanding, unbelievable, delicious, and tastes very fresh, offering excellent value with generous proportions. Specific dishes like the Tuna Nachos, Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon, Crunchy Rainbow, and Japanese Bagel Tempura are all perfect and excellent. The owner is extremely kind, friendly, generous, personable, and knowledgeable, often cooking the food and willing to assist with specific preparation requests. The takeout is ready on time, and the establishment holds a perfect health rating. It is a new sushi spot that customers love and cannot rate highly enough.
