“Bacchus is always a 10/10 experience. The staff are all incredibly kind, their charcuterie is stunning, and their steak au poivre is fantastic. On their charcuterie boards, their homemade jams are lovely and their steak au poivre comes with an onion and garlic (jam?) that is to die for. On our most recent visit, we sat outside and as it was starting to get a little chilly, unprompted, they brought over blankets for everyone at our table. I really can't recommend Bacchus enough!“

“Visited Left Bank for Easter brunch with my husband, and we both loved it. The service was really good. We had reservations and were, I think, the second party there, so no wait time. Our waiter was very attentive and nice, always smiling. The food was so good. I had the croque madame, and my husband had the pork belly Benny. Both satisfying and o so good. Had home fries with it, the right choice. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Cortado and mimosas, on point as well. The restaurant is charming and full of character. Will definitely be back!“

“GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE!!We came here for a late breakfast; the Pancakes were super fluffy, and flavored nicely with vanilla. I also ordered “Poseidon’s Omelette” which was amazing as well. Our server, Dana- has some of the best customer service skills I have experienced in any hospitality/restaurant establishment. She checked in with our table numerous times, refilled our drinks and checked in ensuring that our experience was the best it could possibly be.11/10 recommend— all visitors to the area must stop here (AND ASK FOR DANA!!)Vegetarian options: Most food has no meat, easy to remove and make all menu items vegetarian.“

“The owner/chef is freshly from France, and the food is always so delicious. They have plenty of seats indoors, but it is often very busy, so keep that in mind when choosing what time you'd like to eat. There a few tables outside for those of us who love to dine "au dehors" and there's always a nice breeze off the water, which is across the street. For those who like to take a short walk after a meal to improve digestion, there's a nice waterfront park across the street. My favorite dishes are the bateau-mouche and the shirred eggs. So French, so satisfying, so delicious!! We also come here just to buy their French bakery products made fresh here each day. My hub and I are both sensitive (not allergic) to gluten, so we were THRILLED to find a bakery making pastries from real French flour. French wheat has never been genetically modified to produce hardier or more wheat, so the gluten is entirely different than American wheat. I had a private medical practice in NYC for years, and learned from my European patients that they could eat wheat and drink milk in their country but not here in the U.S.! Who knew?? After researching why that would be so, we started buying our baked goods from an award-winning patisserie in Manhattan, who told us the secret to his success in competitions was using French flour! So if someone in your family has problems with gluten (but NOT if they actually have celiac disease!!), try real French croissants made with French flour. No headaches! No stomach problems! And SO flaky and buttery! And last but not least, the staff and the owner/chef are lovely, warm people. Obviously, we LOVE the Marquise Cafe, and we're so glad it's close to home for us“

“This place is amazing! The owners are so kind and helpful. I had the La Bretonne which was a ham and swiss crepe and it was the most delicious breakfast ever!! The crepes are freshly made with natural ingredients and ginormous. The owners brought the crepes and coffees to us and paid attention to detail as to ask me if my coffee had enough flavoring and happily added more flavoring for me. The atmosphere was so nice and it was an overall awesome experience. Will definitely be going back every time I am here.“
