Based on the reviews, Captain Curt's Crab & Oyster Bar is a must-visit spot in the Siesta Key area. The food stands out for its freshness, generous portions, and consistent flavor. The seafood is fresh and delicious. Popular dishes include the clam chowder, which is very tasty with plenty of clams, the triple tail sandwich, the mahi sandwich, and the tenderloin sandwich. The Captain’s Platter, with boiled Tripletail Fish, Bay Scallops, Gulf Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes, and mixed Vegetables, is also good. The strawberry daiquiri and Pina Coladas are enjoyable drinks. The staff is super nice, friendly, helpful, and fast. Service is great, with servers providing excellent, charismatic, and friendly energy. The restaurant is spacious, featuring two large outdoor Tiki areas with a stage for live music. The atmosphere is laid-back and enjoyable. While the collard greens and the butter for the crab legs could be better, everything else is amazing. Parking can be a challenge, but free parking is available. Overall, it is a place where good food and great service come together.
