During a visit to Siesta Beach, we made sure to stop at Captain Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar. This place was horrible. Ask frozen food. Instant mashed potatoes. My crab cakes came out twice cold. outside The second time warm in the outside cold inside. Vegetables also frozen, and smelled funny. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. Spent 2 and a half hours at a restaurant for food. Ridiculous. And the price for frozen food INSANE.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. TOURIST TRAP.

The staff is super nice, friendly, helpful, and fast. Service is great, with servers providing excellent, charismatic, and friendly energy. The restaurant is spacious, featuring two large outdoor Tiki areas with a stage for live music. The atmosphere is laid-back and enjoyable. While the collard greens and the butter for the crab legs could be better, everything else is amazing. Parking can be a challenge, but free parking is available. Overall, it is a place where good food and great service come together.
