“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“Recently visited and enjoyed my TBone Steak. It was so good I finished the whole thing. As usual, it was cooked as I ordered, seasoned to perfection. I also ordered the mushrooms to go with it, as I feel it compliments the Steak. I did not like the Corn on the Cob as the sauce really killed it but hey, that just my taste buds.
I always recommend Longhorn for Steak besides the usual high-End Steak Houses but Longhorn has always had good quality meat.
This location has GREAT SERVICE and I highly recommend.“

“This was our first visit. I say first because we will definitely be returning. What a great experience. We went on a random Tuesday, so I knew it wasn’t going to be terribly busy (off season bonus!) Amelia, our server, was so friendly and knowledgeable-and just the right amount of attentive. Gave some good recommendations and both our selections were excellent. Steak was done exactly as requested and was, as my husband puts it… like butter. Au just was off the hook. Basically, if you are looking for a casual place to enjoy a really good steak (or anything on their menu), this place is it. Oh and we also visited their butcher counter and brought some of their selections home with us.“

“Dinner was fantastic, but Josh made the entire night. The steak was spot-on, but his service was even better. He was so genuine and sweet the entire time, and honestly one of the funniest servers we've had in a long time. His sense of humor was subtle, perfectly timed, and made us feel like we were in great hands. He checked in exactly when he needed to, kept the vibe light and warm, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does. “we are big fans of longhorn steakhouse we eat at the fruitville location at least twice a month and darn it other locations in Sarasota as well. the fruitvale location has a relaxing atmosphere with a top-notch staff and the attention to detail of the food and the service is second to none.. I will single out a waiter by the name of Eric we have had him before but tonight's visit we got a little bit more insight to him and his 20 years with the company. it's so rare to speak to someone who's been with the company so long to take so much pride in the people that he works with the management and his coworkers and the overall company itself.. not only did he treat us as welcome guests like he has in the past but he made us want to come back to this location and that we will. we have had other members of the staff who are even working tonight but Eric always stands out with his personality and it's Friday just job.. the management at this location is Hands-On they were short-handed where would you find the manager tonight behind the line but he still had time to come out and treat us before leaving. and she's little touches not only by Eric but the management and the other staff members that make the fruitville location a shining star. hats off to Eric and the team for such a great experience!“

“We ate at 6:30 so there were a lot of open tables and very quiet. Good was great as always. Servers and wait staff are always friendly and attentive. The manager stopped by to see how we were doing. Ruth's Chris is always predictably good and consistent. It's a treat to go when the budget allows.“
