“First time here, arrived at 8:20 and they were kind enough to seat us. The staff were very friendly, the food was fresh and came out quickly. “I tried rice box for the first time a few weeks ago, and I absolutely loved it. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews(I’m thinking of ordering tonight so just started looking at the menu). The eggroll was awesome. The rice was very good(think I’ll try shrimp rice next time) chicken bites were also yummy! I loved the food and absolutely love the service! I called asking questions before I ordered and the gentleman on the phone was awesome. Didn’t give me any attitude and was very polite. Then I came in asking more questions lol and was very happy their response (unlike the place at bee ridge/ cattleman, she’s just outright rude) next time I’ll take pics of my meal to post w my review! “This, in my opinion is the best Chinese food in Sarasota. Very consistent taste and quality. I am never disappointed with Taste of Hong Kong. Being an ex- New Englander, this is the closest by far to the chinese food flavors I grew up enjoying.“

“I'm having pregnancy cravings and needed some Chinese food. It was 10:45AM, and I didn't realize that this place doesn't open until 11AM. Someone still answered the phone and took my order! “Revising my previous review. Came in for some dim sum only and it was great. I know sarasota doesn't have much options but this place satisfied my craving for bbq pork buns. “We picked up takeout from bamboo Garden - under new ownership and it shows! The food is delicious - all your fav NY style Chinese favorites! Be sure to have their Shrimp Egg Rolls and Chinese Donuts! The Mongolian Beef has a great taste.....yummm the BEST! We found the food very fresh and well made. . I highly recommend this place. “I don’t typically make food reviews, but I will say this is worth it. The food here is phenomenal. When I finished eating,I was completely stuffed and hardly made a dent in my food. I have at least three meals worth of food left over and I got everything for around $18. The service is relatively fast. I only waited about 10 minutes, which is good because I don’t really have time on my lunch break. 10/10 service and I will definitely be back.“

“Hands down, this is the BEST Chinese place around! In the 15 years I’ve lived in Florida, this is the only Chinese restaurant I’ll eat at. Big portions, fresh hot food, and great prices. My friends, family, and I have never been disappointed. They always get your order exactly right, and the food and customer service go above and beyond. One time I was visiting my mom and she wanted Chinese, so I drove 45 minutes just to get her China Garden on 10th St. I’m so glad I live only 10 minutes away. They never disappoint!
