“This is literally the only edible Chinese food in Venice. It’s not my all time favorite, because I come from NJ and NYC where the greatest Chinese takeout in the country is. But there are some pretty good things here, which is excellent compared to every other place in Venice. The wonton soup, boneless spareribs, sweet and sour pork, egg roll and general tso’s chicken are all good. I go here sometimes once a week and don’t get tired of it. The only things I haven’t liked from here are the bourbon chicken, which was really dry and needed a lot more sauce and the fried rice, I really don’t like the fried rice here. It’s the only place I’ve ever asked for white rice with a combination platter. The service is the fastest I have ever comes across. My food is always ready in 5 minutes without fail. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s 4 stars in Venice. In Sarasota, it would be more like 3 stars. Still good either way.“

“I went through the drive through and the service was fast. The person working the drive through was friendly. My order was correct and I was given plenty of sauces and condiments that I requested. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“Over 29 years going there and favorites are pork low main and hot and sour soup. Lunch is served now in a smaller round container which is a mistake. Pork, ,noodles, and veggies are packed on top of the rice and this sucks up the excellant sauce. Rice should be on the side of the rest with extra sauce in between. It used to be that way years ago and should go back to that even with less food packed in. The best Chinese food we know in Venice!!!!“

“We ordered by phone for pick up tonight. The wait was longer than anticipated but it’s Christmas and honestly I was just grateful to find a place that was open. The staff, especially the girl managing the counter/register, was so friendly and maintained calm composure throughout the chaos of so many orders. The food was delicious!!!“

“Ordered despite some really negative reviews. Was ready within 10 minute for pickup. Hot, fresh, good flavor chicken chow mein lunch special. A very generous portion and included a drink for just under $10. Photo taken after eating about half. Generous portion indeed.
Added photo of lunch special Moo Goo Gai Pan also good and significant portion.“

“Dine in at a take out restaurant. Escaped my place- too much time taking care of responsibilities there. The food was ready and waiting. It was the perfect temperature for me- that's great- no burning my mouth due to impatience.
The food could have been spicier but then again, it was not salty- yay!!!!!!!!!!!! One can always add spices- that is why they have those packets.
There was more than enough. Slowing down with food still in the box.
The decor is take out simple. It is place for convenience rather than a luxurious gormet sit down restaurant.“

“I just moved here from NJ/NY. My whole life I've been warned the Chinese food and pizza in Florida is trash. Completely untrue as far as Chinese goes. The Wonton soup and boneless ribs are amongst the best ive ever had. Everything else is NY quality, if that is still a compliment.“

“Tasty chinese food with good quality ingredients. This take out restaurant is clean and attractive with ample seating for eating in also. The staff is friendly, happy, and they were super helpful to me with preparing my food without some ingredients I'm allergic to.“

“Best Chinese in town! I ordered online & tried the Shrimp with broccoli and fried rice. It’s delicious & hot when I got there to pick it up. I’ve also had the fried chicken wings before & those were amazing too! The only thing I will say is that the crab Rangoons are okay, they are tiny. Still giving them 9/10, thank you!“

The food got the job done and is good Chinese food.
Pictured is the General Sao, which had the right amount of kick.“
