“I don’t know why everyone that I’m licking reading some of your reviews. I have never had a problem with the mother and her dad works back there. They’re very hard-working people, they have two daughters occasionally that come to the restaurant and it’s a shy, but they’re not in polite. They’re just a little girls they’re shy, the majority that are complaining for nothing just have more patience, and if you bring it to her attention, the main lady that runs the front you know the office there at the restaurant she’ll make it right to you, but you don’t have to scream at them and be rude and they tell me that’s what happens, no complaints. “Me and my family have been coming here for over a year now and it's absolutely fantastic every time. Every dish is made to order and so so fresh. We typically stick to the rice bowl options but we've tried a few other things and never been disappointed. Their egg drop soup and seaweed salad are amazing appetizers as well, and all the food comes out so fast. The owner and employees always recognize us and greet us with the biggest smile and best service. We modify our bowls to exactly how we like them (encouraged by the owner!!) and the prices are very reasonable, with only a $1 upcharge for some modifications. Plenty of meat in the bowls as well, you will never leave hungry, even if you only ate the meat with no veggies or rice. Overall, amazing customer service and some of the best chinese I've had.“

“So the quality of the food is very good it tastes like real New York quality the rice is interesting I like their rice better when it's cold then when it's hot when it's hot and has kind of an overpowering seafood details and when it's cold the seafood taste goes away“

Plenty of vegetarian options. Tofu skin is good. Eggplant is good. The pineapple buns are the perfect dessert.“

“Top China is quite good. Many choices to suit plus daily luncheon menue @ $10.75 including a can of pop. We have been twice and will go back. One test for me is how busy a place is. They are quite busy and capable responding to customers. That being busy is important to me as I do not usually go to places that are not busy. It is good substantial proportions. The food stocks in slow not busy places hold food to long before preparation while busy kitchens get it in and get it prepped out the door. You can eat in. Most food seems to be take out. Go, it is good. Enjoy.“

“I moved from Florida 8 years ago and used to eat here before moving. Not sure if the owners have changed but had them again this past week and it felt so nostalgic and tasted just how I remembered it. I got boneless spare ribs and fried rice. Huge portions and decent price. It came with an egg roll which was also good. I unfortunately cannot get something similar in Texas which stinks.

The only con was I also got krab rangoons which tasted awful. And for some reason they had a pink tinge of color to them and the cream cheese didn’t taste right. Would not recommend those.“

“Typical no frills chinese take out experience. The service was kind and it was quick. The food itself is a touch above the standard take out quality you experience around these parts. Lot of reminded me of back up North especially the fried rice. The general tso was crispy and had those sweet sugary crisped edges I love in this dish, the eggrolls were crispy and not oily (the shrimp eggroll was a touch on the salty side)...My family was happy and we would return.“

At hand China Taste is another Chinese restaurant just like all others in the area. Don't get me wrong, every one is different from the other.

Disclaimer: I always order three lunch combos to get a sense of how the food tastes.

For this lunch I ordered beef and broccoli, pepper steak, and stir fry veggies in brown sauce with steamed white rice. The other lunches came with pork fried rice. Two came with an egg roll and one with egg drop soup.

Everything was really good. Plenty food in each container. The egg rolls were pretty typical and I was told by my mother that the egg drop soup was the best she had ever had. The egg drop soup wasn't as golden in color as most but it was properly thick and rich with flavor.

I definitely recommend coming for the egg drop soup.
