We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. Steaks and rack of lamb were cooked appropriately and seasoned well. Stuffed Branzino (a special) and black grouper were fresh and tasty. Desserts did not disappoint. Delicious! We'll be back!”

“We are from the Upper Ohio Valley, about a half hour from Pittsburgh (Weirton, WV) and had the BEST donuts in the area (Oram’s- voted best in Pennsylvania, and Pete’s-a hometown treasure). Since moving to Englewood, we finally tried Yummies and were SUPER IMPRESSED! The cream sticks (which they call Long John’s) were fresh, soft, and filled with a delicious buttery, vanilla cream filling. My husband loved the frosted cinnamon roll donut, too. So glad we found a local donut shop that tastes like “home”!!”

“We’ve been dining at Mi Pueblo Venice for eighteen years. Tonight’s experience surpassed every experience previously, even though we’ve always really enjoyed it. Starting with the incredibly festive decor of the Brickyard Plaza, overflowing into the restaurant, it was visually stunning. Upon our arrival we were told an hour wait at the most. We waited only twenty minutes for a table for five, and I very much appreciated the liberal wait time estimate. Had we been told twenty minute wait and waited thirty, we’d have been disappointed. Service was phenomenal: menu options were great, margaritas delicious, food runner got everyone’s dish to the correct person, and…WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN?!? 😮👏🏼 Well done!! Absolutely delicious, the entire party enjoyed their meals. Thank you, thank you. Looking forward to the next visit soon! Happy New Year, Mi Pueblo crew!! 🎉”

“Went there Sunday night, with a large party for a birthday. Our waiter was on point. I made a joke as to the screw up on food, seeing I have no filter, not sure if it was taken wrong. However, it was made right, bit it was disappointing that the original steak I ordered was medium rare and the second one arrived well done. Again the service was accommodating, yet by this time everyone else was finishing up with dessert. I will love to go back, and i will. The only downfall was that my entree was a special and not served all the time. Hence the 4 stars on communication and delivery of food. BTW, the bacon and eggs was delicious and will order again.”

Wish we had more nights to try some of the other English dishes. The Ole Smoky Old fashioned was also superb. And what a fun way to present with the burnt cedar. Better than our Wisconsin old fashioned. ?. We will definitely return next winter.”

“The food was amazing. But I made a reservation for 8 at 7pm. Walked in and said told them I had a reservation she came over asked me my name then she answered then phone. After she got off the phone I asked if we could please sit outside and she said “ do you really want to do that I would have to move a table” She then said I have you set up in the back and led me to the back and walked away and said ya great in a smart manor. She was walking around talking to everyone so she must be some kinda lead I wouldn’t even call her a manager but yeah with that interaction me and my 350$ dinner bill will not be back.”

“We love all the Tequila resturants ...Blue...Pink...Lime and now the Venice Pineapple Tequila that recently opened. We went to dinner tonight with friends there and had a great meal. We had about a 30 minute wait but well worth the wait time. Our server Yalitzaly was wonderful...she was super friendly and did a phenomenal job taking care and serving us. She was very experienced and accommodating ....I would say she is a super good valuble employee that cares about the resturants customers. “When we first visited Venice looking for what would eventually become our home, Black Gold Coffee Roasters was one of the first places we found. We had no idea then how much it would become part of our life.

Now it's one of my favorite places to be. It's where my husband and I sneak away for coffee dates, dream about what's next, plan our businesses, and simply enjoy being together. It has become part of the rhythm of our week. It has even become a family favorite with our kids never wanting to miss out on a stop.

It's been so fun to watch Black Gold grow, and now we have the pleasure of enjoying both locations with the opening of the Island location at the beautiful Lord Higel House. Each location has its own charm, but both carry the same welcoming atmosphere and sense of community.

Gary, Alyssa, and the entire team have created something really special. The coffee is wonderful, but it's the people and the atmosphere that keep us coming back. Every visit feels warm, inviting, and like you're among friends.

If you're looking for more than just a great cup of coffee and if you're looking for a place that truly feels like home, I can't recommend Black Gold Coffee Roasters enough.”

I complained to the hostess who took off our coffees. The waitress apologized for serving the other couple first. She didn't understand that we had waited an additional 20 minutes to PLACE our order. I never complain, I've been wait staff. The wait staff there has always been fabulous until today. She is clueless.”

We had a birthday brunch, and we bought bagels from Cafe Bagel !Absolutely delicious. Chewy, like up north, but also with that nice "crisp" bite. I'm so excited about finding this place, especially since the prices are great too. I HIGHLY recommend!”
