We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. Steaks and rack of lamb were cooked appropriately and seasoned well. Stuffed Branzino (a special) and black grouper were fresh and tasty. Desserts did not disappoint. Delicious! We'll be back!”

“We visited for the first time today while in the area. Always heard to check the restroom to know what a restaurant really is like lol. Well I had to and found it to be very clean and smelled clean and fresh. On to our meal. I totally enjoyed the whole belly clams meal with a delicious slaw and subbed corn on the cob for the fries as I typically don’t eat fries. Those clams were wonderful, large juicy and flavorful. The corn was fresh and sweet and the slaw was perfect to my taste. I enjoyed a sangria with my meal. Enjoyed every bite. My husband is a self proclaimed oyster aficionado, he ordered a dozen raw on the half shell. He proclaimed them to be perfect. He was impressed that they were fresh, plump, and sufficiently briny. He really enjoyed them fully. He also had the red beans and rice meal along with a beer and said it was good food. So thumbs up Shuck N Ale. We had to be there for a doctor visit that took us 45 minutes to drive there to Venice, but hubby says it’s worth a drive that long to come for the food anytime. See you again! By the way the staff were friendly and the food was delivered promptly so thumbs up for that as well. The music was just beginning as we were leaving.”

“I know they're known for their lobster rolls (which are great, don't get me wrong), but the star of the show is the NE clam chowder in my opinion. If you like clam chowder at all, you owe it to yourself to seek this place out. Huge clam chunks, creamy, flavorful, amazing!

They also have these awesome little take out kits if you want to reheat the meal for later.

We try to stop here every time they show up in North Port. Even if I don't always have the disposable income for the lobster, I'm gonna get that chowder.”

Plus, they are one of the few Chinese restaurants in town that offers a poo poo platter. If you’re looking for a charming environment to eat in, this is not the place. This is more for people that are looking for quality Chinese food that’s either takeout or delivery.”

“Take-out restaurant on Mercado drive. The food is excellent. Service is very good. My favorite is General Tsao’s Chicken. It’s very close to NY Chinese food which is the best in the country. Everything I’ve had there has been very good.”

“If you like Chicago Pizza this is the place. We are used to eating Thin Crust Pizza with lots of Italian Sausage. Well we found it here. Reminds me of the pizza we used to get in Tinley Park, Illinois. Possibly the Best Pizza in all of Florida. The only downside is that we live in Arcadia and they are an hour away .. but we'll worth the drive.”

They’re great at communicating with each other and getting orders out in a timely manner. Even with a few ladies upset that a single smoothie was finished before their 4, the girls keep smiling and apologizing all while continuing to prep nonstop! Brunette and Blonde working Wednesday 12/29 around noon, kudos!”

I have been out of town all summer and we stopped in this morning. “Horrible experience today in CC, Tx past Roddfield Rd. Went for my lunch break and got my usual, sandwich and smoothie. The lady was extremely rude. I took my food to work and ate it. The sandwich was not the best this time and the smoothie just didn't taste right. I had taken a few sips throughout the afternoon thinking it was just unripe fruit but couldn't continue because it was so gross. I took the smoothie to the sink to dump it and chunks fell out. At first I thought "oh, chunks of banana. that seems normal" but as I was washing the smoothie down the drain the pieces were becoming clearer to me. I touched it to see if it was squishy fruit and it didn't squish. It was pieces of a magic eraser. Looked like they threw it in the blender with my fruits and served it to me. Totally DISGUSTING.”

“It's 2pm and our 1st time at this DD location. The young man and young lady at the counter were super friendly and very welcoming. The coffee & hot tea were fresh and so were our donuts. The place is HUGE and beautiful. Lots of comfy sitting. Will probably be one of our favorite DD locations.”

Jim and his professional team has created an amazing environment with extremely delicious appetizers and entrees in that fashion. The beer is cold, the wine is quality and the cocktails are made to perfection. With chef Josh in the kitchen the presentation and taste of every entree is priceless. Regardless if you live here in beautiful Venice or visiting our lovely community Sands comes highly recommend from me and my family and friends!

We had about a 30 minute wait but well worth the wait time. Our server Yalitzaly was wonderful...she was super friendly and did a phenomenal job taking care and serving us. She was very experienced and accommodating ....I would say she is a super good valuble employee that cares about the resturants customers. “I go to Cracker Barrel more than any other sit down restaurant. I am comfortable there. I enjoy all of their meals. The staff are always friendly even when they can be very busy. I was in 2 nights ago just before the dinner rush. Everything was great, my server was quick and efficient and every time I check out one of the cashiers recognizes me. She gave me a good hug yesterday. I will continue to patronize them.”
