“Linksters Venice is one of the best bars around, mostly because of the bartenders! They remember your name, your drink and make you feel happy that you're there. I met Kyle when he was at Linksters South Sarasota. Genuinely a nice person. He is friendly and a great bartender. I was happy when he moved to the Venice Linksters. You should check them out! Overall, both Linksters (Venice and South Sarasota) are a good choice. Their success begins with ownership (Kirk is the Best) and he only employs people that make that happen.“

Bumping the review from 4 to 5 stars.(First visit 2/17) I’ve been to the Lakeland location twice and food and service were phenomenal so I decided to try out my hometown location, Venice.Arrived for lunch around 1pm with some out of town guests and were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Place was pretty busy and not many open tables. Mike, the manager, brought us waters while we waited for our server, Taylor. I saw her making the drinks which meant she was also the bartender. My first drink was a short glass (Big Storm blueberry vodka, unsweetened iced tea, and lemonade) and it tasted good. Next drink I ordered a tall and it seemed a little off. Taylor GLADLY made me another, no questions asked. Delicious!It took a little while for us to be able to get our food order in as Taylor was working extremely hard managing all her tasks. Our food (Brussels and bacon, fried pickles, chicken tenders and fries, goat cheese grilled cheese, and two buffalo wedge salads) took quite a long time to come out. Mike, the manager, brought the salads out shortly after everything else but they were missing the hard boiled eggs. I give Taylor mad props as she didn’t even write down our orders and managed to get it all right! The food was delicious as it was at the Lakeland location.It wasn’t my ideal experience for my first time at the Venice location. I wanted my friends to REALLY LOVE IT as much as I talked it up. We all still had a really nice time and the food was really good. The restaurant was clean. Taylor went above and beyond and was extremely nice. Mike, the manager, kindly took the salads off of the check on his own. He was also working extremely hard and I appreciate him very much.Although it wasn’t the perfect experience today, Mike and Taylor made up for it and then some. “A great neighborhood pub with a homey feel. The best part of Old Venice Pub is it's bartenders. Super attentive. Plenty of TVs and they have every sports package known to mankind. They do not serve food, but they do allow you to bring your own or even to order Doordash etc.“
“It was busy this night, and that's actually something I like, usually, as the kitchen, and wait staff are hopping, less mistakes. As a resteraunt worker of 10+ years, I can "read" any resteraunt. This particular evening was not what I expected. I could tell there were a few new trainees. Our waiter must have been having a bad moment. To walk up to ANY table that just ordered an appetizer and say "are you guys gonna order anything else or what?"...?...Wow. And...I guess maybe a new guy in the kitchen doesn't know the difference between salsa and marinara sauce, (Some things just aren't meant for salsa), and that's okay too. I get it, rough night. I just had laughed out loud, however, when hearing every wait person stand there and complain about No cups, No knives, No forks...?? Yup. Been there! Poor dish pit person! They were super slow, super new, super swamped, or all the above..?In my day, we'd go help them, not slam them like that. (I feel as if a certain generation has not been taught Work Ethics.) Anyways. It is what it is, and my Oriental Salad was really good. **⚠️ Tip your server cash ⚠️**?They now have Tips added to paychecks and have to pay taxes on Tips if put on credit cards? “We stopped in here for the first time on a weekday for lunch because I had read positive reviews for this place. Seated immediately and were greeted by our server, Kennedy. We were seated in an area where we could not see or really hear the bar area due to the partitions separating us from the bar which was awesome. Comfy booths and plenty of screens to watch. Our server Kennedy was very accommodating when we ordered our food and drinks which arrived relatively quickly. My wife got a BLT and mentioned there was a lot of bacon in it. I got a Libbee's Burger medium well done and it was noticeably dry and maybe even overcooked although their special sauce and mayo helped with that. I know I ordered medium well but I was disappointed the burger wasn't juicier. It can be done. Fries were good. The Margarita my wife ordered didn't seem to have much alcohol in it, came in a whiskey glass and was horribly sweet. Jai Lai beer was cold. Our server Kennedy was the star of the show even if she did have trouble getting our check to us in a timely fashion because of some sort of issue at the bar. Overall not a bad experience but I think it can be done better.“
“I’ve been coming here for years at least once a week however my favorite beer the walking tree ipa is no longer available and is incredibly disappointing. Couldn’t bring myself to drop stars because of this but idk if I can continue to come as often. It was a staple to my visits because it’s the only place I could get it. “I love it at Outlook because it is open late, long karaoke til late, the best karaoke, lots of great singers. The entire place is always clean. I've noticed that every single time. The tables, the bathrooms. Very cool designs and artwork all over. Lots of pool tables. Love the DJs and bartenders. Thank you for having a place to hang out and listen to music past 9 or 10pm. Before your spot, there was literally nowhere.“

“Don’t bother if you have any sort of food allergy! Prima Donna cook can’t even be bothered to put a piece of foil on the grill to cook a burger and actually told the poor waitress “I don’t even know why she would bother to come here”. The rest of our table had burgers that were severely over cooked and dry. The homemade chips were all burnt and inedible. The only bright spot was Tracy - she did everything she could. Will never go back!!“
“Thai food at a sports bar? Yes, in deedy. The best Thai food with 4 levels of hear. Chef's hot makes the food not as enjoyable. Mexican hot is my sweet spot, but my wife prefers medium heat. They only serve beer and wine, but that is all you will want eating the Thai food. The place has that great sports bar vibe with several tvs for the various games available that day.“
