We always go to Appleby's when we are in Venice Florida to visit. Our male server was friendly and our drinks, appetizer Boneless wings) was great BUT the girl at the door was an ignorant B****** She didn't greet 1 customer that came through the door not even us. Our table that she lead us to without saying a word was dirty, she put the menus down and walked away. I asked her to wipe the table but she wiped the table in front of ours even though there was no one there to be seated...read full review

Applebee's Grill + Bar provides a pleasant dining experience with good food and friendly staff. The restaurant makes an effort to correct mistakes and ensure customer satisfaction. The prime rib dipper is a standout menu item, and attentive servers contribute to a positive atmosphere. Jess is amazing and goes above and beyond for everyone around. She makes sure customers have anything they could have needed and wanted and is very good at what she does. While the restaurant could benefit from a deeper cleaning to eliminate sticky surfaces and greasy smells, the service was excellent and the food was good. Some found the spinach dip to be small for the price. However, it was a good meal and service, and customers would return.
