This was our 4th time here in the past year and I have tried something different each time. This time I had the Kentucky Hot Brown, which was very good. “First time at Isabella’s and won’t be the last. Cozy, quiet little Italian gem in a strip mall just past Rotonda. As other reviews stated, the only downside (if you can even call it that) is that for a party of two, they give you two pieces of bread….BUT, they quickly offer to replenish bread and the dipping oil was great! Everything we had, from starter, to salad / soup, entrees (BIG portions, we brought home half of each!) and we split a Limoncello flute for dessert. And, the best part, our server, Antonella, was just the best - friendly, cheerful, attentive and couldn’t have asked for more! Looking forward to our next visit there!”

The ice cream, cotton candy and snow cones were great. We visited both days of our vacation in May. Very cute and clean place!! Highly recommended!! We returned to Florida a month later and visited this place 4 of our 5 days in town! There’s so much offered here! Waffle cones, waffle bowls, homemade snow cones, sundaes, cheesecake, shakes, cotton candy, banana splits, floats…. I’ve never seen a “snack” shop offer so much!! Cute atmosphere, great prices, amazing service!!!”

“My wife & I ate just days ago & was the worst experience in years, cod was Extremely heavily breaded, the mashed potatoes were actually barely cooked baked potatoes with the top mashed a little with a fork? The fries my wife got were undercooked and cool. I am afraid to complain too much as the cook has ways for revenge when he “fixes” the food & returns it. The waitress was fine. Never Again……..Never!”

The owner was incredibly welcoming, recommending her favorite menu items, and the Blue Berry Smoothie tasted just like a fresh blueberry muffin with outstanding flavor, texture, and high-quality ingredients. As someone who is very selective about taste and quality, I was genuinely impressed. “We are spending some time in Englewood and a quick search for Friday afternoon delivery landed us at Bobarino’s Pizzeria. Sometimes that is exactly how you find a neighborhood gem.

The lady who answered the phone on Friday May 29 was outstanding. Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful in getting our order right. She quoted us 45 minutes to an hour for delivery and I am not exaggerating when I say the food arrived at our door in under 30 minutes. That alone deserves recognition.

I ordered the Italian sub and it was very good. The bread was exceptional, the kind of bread I have not had since leaving New York. I requested roasted red peppers which they accommodated without hesitation and they were delicious. I was hoping for a housemade dressing on the side rather than a packet of Ken’s Italian and the meat could be a touch more generous, but small notes on an otherwise solid sandwich.

My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo and it did not quite hit the mark on this visit. We have seen the photos on their website and the menu looks fantastic so we are confident this was just an off night.

Three stars for now but we will absolutely be back to dine in and fully expect this place to earn five. The phone service, the speed of delivery and the quality of that bread tell us there is something special here worth returning for.

They have covered outdoor patio seating, which provides nice shade, along with outdoor games like checkers, Connect Four, and cornhole. The prices were reasonable. It is a fun, family-friendly place to enjoy ice cream.”
