“Overall our stay was not bad . I just wish when booking they would let you know what time the pool and hot tub closes , which is fairly early 9 p.m . The pool and hot tub are nice once of the reasons we booked here ( and because it was close to the beach ) but the pool is all of 4’6 inches deep . . There is nothing to do or really eat around this area so you more than likely will be driving 30+ minutes looking for food .“

“We’ve been dining at Mi Pueblo Venice for eighteen years. Tonight’s experience surpassed every experience previously, even though we’ve always really enjoyed it. Starting with the incredibly festive decor of the Brickyard Plaza, overflowing into the restaurant, it was visually stunning. Upon our arrival we were told an hour wait at the most. We waited only twenty minutes for a table for five, and I very much appreciated the liberal wait time estimate. Had we been told twenty minute wait and waited thirty, we’d have been disappointed. Service was phenomenal: menu options were great, margaritas delicious, food runner got everyone’s dish to the correct person, and…WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN?!? 😮👏🏼 Well done!! “Drove from Venice to Placida and it was 100% worth it for Smokin Jerry’s Tiki Bar and Grill and of course the wonderful sunset 🌅 The food was excellent all around, but let’s talk about the wings. I’m from Buffalo — so I’m legally required to judge wings at a higher level. 😆 And I’ll say this… they passed the test. Crispy, flavorful, cooked right. No sauce soup, no soggy nonsense. Legit. Might have a new wing spot . Those smoked wings are fire 🔥 Josh was our waiter and he absolutely crushed it. Attentive without hovering, refills magically appeared before we even had to ask, and he kept the whole experience smooth and fun. The guy runs his section like a pro.
