“The entrees were good, not great but good. The onion rings had potential but they were quite doughy and rather tasteless. The clam chowder seemed like Campbell's. The service was excellent, but a bit on the slow side. Yes it was busy but there were plenty of workers. The price for 5 of us including tip was just shy of $250 which is the biggest issue that would keep me from going back again.“
“We ended up coming here after the other restaurants we checked out in Venice had a 2+ hr wait. We were seated immediately, and the staff were super friendly. We LOVED all the beautiful ambient lighting. The margaritas were delicious, and huge! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals - I recommend the enchiladas verdes. We’ll definitely be coming back when we’re back in FL!“
“Phenomenal! I rarely give a 5 star review. This deserves it all day long. It's not just burgers and beer. We had two of the unusual salads (Hot Cali Cobb and Buffalo chicken Wedge). Simply put mind blowing. Service was to notch. Had the golden road mango cart on draft... my new fave!“
“Love the host, the service and the food. We live close by and when we have a date night, it's hard to beat this local establishment. The chef is always willing to accommodate our vegan friends if he possibly can and the prices are very good, too. The atmosphere is nice with the lower lighting and it isn't loud so you can actually talk in a normal voice unlike some of the other local restaurants. The key lime martini's are yummy, too!Parking: There is parking on both sides of the restaurant and a large parking lot in the rear.“
“Decent place didn’t have the food. Coffee was very good. Rooms are very clean. The only problem I see is if there are an hour if you need towels, you have to go down and get them yourself because they have nobody working overnight to bring towels up to you if you need them or anything, oh it was a decent place to “
“Went for dinner but just ordered appetizers. We got Conch Fritters and Jerry's pulled pork nachos. Washed it down with Hazy IPA's. Great inexpensive waterfront eats for a ton of food. Our server Savannahvwas great, personable and prompt. Will be going back “
“I am vacationing in FL and met a friend who lives in the area that wanted to try out this place. We had gone to the Ringling College Spring Open House and arrived at Blue Pineapple Bistro around 1:40 pm.Karen had parked in the parking area right next to the Bistro but it looked full so I drove around half a block and found a large parking lot which appears to be available for the Dearborn patrons. Surprisingly no fee, and it even has its own restroom facility, map, and pathway to Blue Pineapple. It was Saturday afternoon and the deck was full with patron enjoying the day, live music. We were told we had to wait since no seats were available. I noticed that no patrons were sitting inside and we were to wait outside on the bench, so I walked to my car for a sweater and returned to discover we were already seated inside.Service was too quick for us as we were chatting, lots of choices, and hadn't decided what to eat so our waitress had to give us more time to decide. I was seriously contemplating the chicken taco but had really wanted the tator tots as a side and hadn't had a hamburger in quite some time, so chose the Basic Classic burger which did not disappoint in the least bit.Karen chose the Coconut shrimp appetizer dish for her lunch which she said was tasty. We had noticed the entire deck had cleared out, the musicians gone, and the servers cleaning up and placing chairs away. Our waitress had asked if she could close out the bill as it was 2:25 pm. I asked for a box as I still had half of the burger and more than half of the tater tots, and asked if they closed at 3 pm or 2:30 pm. Come to find out they close at 2 pm.After apologizing for delaying them, paid the bill quickly which is great since they bring the credit card machine to the table.Cute, casual ambiance. The fact that there was live music, though we were indoors.Food was good, service was too.“
