Had another great dinner at Farlows this evening. Our server Charli was very attentive and answered all of our questions on the menu. This was our 4th time here in the past year and I have tried something different each time. This time I had the Kentucky Hot Brown, which was very good. There are so many unique meals on the menu I can't wait to return and try another one.
Steak au Poivre and Blackened Grouper for a delicious and simple early dinner. Love the interesting variety of menu choices and restaurant atmosphere. The Farlows are doing it right.
Came here two nights in a row. It was so good the first time that we decided to come back the second time and try the other things they had on the menu. Love the ambience by the water. I will be coming back here every time I visit.

Farlows on the Water offers a beautiful dining experience with dockside seating. The attentive servers provide excellent service and are knowledgeable about the menu. The grandkids had to send back the grouper bites, but the chicken fingers were okay. The Gold Tile fish and Shrimp and Grits have been described as delicious. However, some diners feel that the restaurant tries too hard to make many dishes extravagant, which can bury the natural flavors. Desserts like the lava cake fell short, and many wished for room to try more. Despite varied reviews on food quality, the overall dining experience at Farlows on the Water is enjoyable, with large portion sizes and a wonderful atmosphere that many recommend. Guests appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, who take the time to explain how dishes are prepared. The restaurant also features live music, enhancing the dining experience.
