“I want to give a shout out to Apulia Osteria Italiana. Yesterday, they went out of their way to prepare a dish for a gentleman on hospice that we care for. The dish brought a smile upon him that we haven’t seen in quite awhile! Thank you to the staff that made this possible❤️ and Thank you for such a lovely display of kindness!”

“Tasty ice cream and reasonable prices. Good outdoor seating area near the docks. Fun to take a golf cart there! They also have coffee and some small bites too…it’s like a mini convenience store with just the essentials”

“Very, very busy when we were there mid March 2022 so I'll certainly cut them some slack for (kind of) slow service. Our server really hustled and when the food arrived it was really good. If you like a good sized burger, this is the place! Fries were fantastic, too. One small complaint; Cool Pickle is a place where they sometimes have (continuous) karaoke, which I can personally do without. Kinda loud and difficult to have a conversation with the other diners we were with. Some of the performers couldn't carry a note if they had a 5 gallon pail, but some were quite good. However, very good for the most part and I will be returning again.”

“It is a fine outdoor tropical setting with exceptional staff that are helpful but not hovering. The kitchen creates great food. The beach is the standard fantastic Florida beach. There are umbrellas with lounge chairs provided and towels as well. All one needs to bring is themselves and swimming clothes.”

“We loved our time on Palm Island & went to Rum Bay each day. The food was good, well priced, and the drinks were great. Staff was so sweet and felt like family by the end of our trip. We loved Debbie who served us several days. 10/10 recommend for the nice island vibe and laidback atmosphere. We had several other dishes that I didn’t get photos of that we enjoyed.”

“Adriella is so sweet, informative, kind, funny and a great employee all around. She explained the different options, products and helped in every way. The ice cream, cotton candy and snow cones were great. We visited both days of our vacation in May. Very cute and clean place!! Highly recommended!! We returned to Florida a month later and visited this place 4 of our 5 days in town! There’s so much offered here! Waffle cones, waffle bowls, homemade snow cones, sundaes, cheesecake, shakes, cotton candy, banana splits, floats…. I’ve never seen a “snack” shop offer so much!! Cute atmosphere, great prices, amazing service!!!”

It's my favorite coffee house on this coast. 💕🏴‍☠️✨ As a local charity founder, I have to emphasize how much I appreciate their commitment to the community. It's businesses like The Dearborn Coffeehouse that support local charity work and help keep our community sound. For coffee, you can't beat their Café Cubano—the best in Englewood! And seriously, treat yourself to their delicious fresh cinnamon rolls and incredible seasonal pastries. A perfect local retreat! 💙”

“Great for Breakfast. Mediocre lunch. The sandwich was decent but surprised the best they could do for a side was a pile of your basic potatoe chips. Service is great and the place is super clean and neat. I do highly recommend their Breakfast just disappointed in the lunch offerings.”

“I love a good Cuban sandwich and this Cuban sandwich didn’t disappoint. I live in Maryland and when in Sarasota we love the Columbia Restaurant. In my opinion this Cuban sandwich was 10x’s better than the Columbia!!! Please check it out!! Everything is house made. They roast their own pork!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“My wife & I ate just days ago & was the worst experience in years, cod was Extremely heavily breaded, the mashed potatoes were actually barely cooked baked potatoes with the top mashed a little with a fork? The fries my wife got were undercooked and cool. I am afraid to complain too much as the cook has ways for revenge when he “fixes” the food & returns it. The waitress was fine. Never Again……..Never!”

We also tried the desserts and they were incredible—the raspberry cannoli cream black forest cake was super moist and delicious, and the cannoli cookie with chocolate ganache was a unique special treat. If you’re looking for great Italian food or takeout spot in Englewood, this is the perfect place to go!”
