“I was told it's a great little place to stop at the center there in pine Island and so we did before we went to go fishing I love tacos but it was a little windy that day so I had to make sure my ingredients didn't blow away at the tables LOL but it was very good!”

“What brings us back to this place over and over again is the views! SWFL charm through and through! The food is always fantastic and very consistent. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time with the blue crab and corn chowder soup as a side. This chowder is FANTASTIC! I could hardly share with my husband it was so good, sweet and so savory. Forget the cup, go with the bowl! It’s he shrimp and grits were so good I forgot to take pictures. Just cheesy enough to not over power the shrimp flavor. High five to the chef. The food is more pricy, however you know it’s going to be good and consistent so it’s worth it. The staff is extremely professional and patient. This is a restaurant for a romantic date or a celebration. I’ve also gone here for a wedding! Yes it’s that beautiful! Totally recommend a sunset timeframe as you can see from the pictures.Parking: We were able to find a spot but have struggled in the past. However this time they had a parking lot monitor so maybe that’s the difference.”

“This restaurant is an interesting Fusion of Florida 80s style architecture along with Classy dining. It is quite interesting and quite well done. The food is fantastic. “THE BEST frozen dessert place. We were visiting the area and called into the Frozen Flip Flop on a Monday, they were closed. But the owner was dropping something off and invited us in and served us anyway. What a lovely person, gorgeous froyo and a great array of toppings. Go here, you won't regret it.”

“Perfectly cooked huge piece (8 oz) of cod with the thinnest dusting of batter. Friendly waitress. Quiet location. It's hard to see from the road as there is no large sign. But it is on the south end of the plaza. Well worth the trip. We will be back soon.”

“We love going to The Perfect Cup so much, we took our new neighbor there for brunch today. Catherine was our server today. We’ve had her as a server many times before. Catherine is a nice young woman, always smiling. She’s very good at her job. I always recommend The Perfect Cup to people looking for a new place to check out for casual lunch/brunch. “I visited this location while on vacay and the owners and staff were absolutely fabulous! My acai bowl had a lot of vibrant, natural flavors that didn't leave an artificial or sugary aftertaste. Really wish I had one near me!”

“We dined at The Temp our first night on the island and what a treat! The atmosphere is upbeat and the service was impeccable. I had the burrata tomato salad and it was incredible. Layers of flavor, so, so good. For dinner I had the pan seared red snapper and my husband had a tuna special. Both were delicious. We will definitely return!!”

“Fun little shop, delicious ice cream, and great coffee. We got iced coffee and coffee ice cream, and they were both really good. They had other drink options and some cute merchandise. I try to find stickers for places we visited, and they didn't disappoint. The only complaint is that they didn't have the best customer service.”

“We felt lucky to get into this awesome little spot! Make a reservation. Besides the pool bar, this was the only restaurant open on the island. We started our meal with beef barley soup. It was rich and delicious. Perfect. I'd go back just for that soup. My husband had sea bass with mashed potatoes and green beans for his entree. I had wild mushroom ravioli, smothered in a shredded chicken and vodka sauce. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and the ravioli was sooo filling. The sauce reminded me a little of my Dad's chicken cacciatore. Old school flavor. We shared a piece of key lime pie with fresh whipped cream to finish out the meal. Memorable place, great service. Perfect for our last night on the island! Note - BYOB. They do have water and soft drinks. Don't miss this one!”

“When we got there, there wasn't much parking. Which I understand for a small town local business that got hit by the hurricane ? and is trying to rebuild as well as possible. But, there were many bees, no air conditioning, and an "eh" vibe to it. ?. 3 of us got the pulled pork. It was quite dry and in clumps. But, still great tasting. The potato salad was amazing ?! The beans..... Were interesting....Tasting.....A bit spicy And thick....But good ??.....We got there and the entrance was through back which had many wasps flying around. We had to walk through the whole building through the back just to get to the register, where you order and pay at the same place/time. The whole building had a very interesting vibe......it was quite expensive as well. For 3 pulled pork sandwiches ? (each with a side), a brisket sandwich ?, a meal of brisket with a side, 2 beers, and 2 waters, it was $91.85!!!”

“Accessible only by boat, Cabbage Key is a nice destination to spend a few hours to a few days. It's a popular place to be on the weekends. The restaurant has a great story with the dollar bills tacked all over the walls and ceiling. They just recently opened up the ice cream store. The toasted coconut is DELICIOUS!”
