“Went in bar one afternoon because it looked very edgy. What a find. Very old Florida with a neat history. Tried to make a reservation but they would booked. Called the next day and had a cancellation for dinner. Best in Boca. The environment is beautiful and food and service is superior. If you are in the area and can get in don’t miss”
“First glance its very cute. When you walk inside it is very small. There were about 15 options for ice cream and many more smoothie, sundae and milkshake options. The shop, along with all the other stores, closed at 6. It should be open much later especially during spring break. I say this because it was very busy and if it were open later it would have so much more business. Needless to say it was a great experience and great ice cream. Was it worth $20 for a waffle cone and sundae. No. But I believe a 4 star us fair for an honest business with hard working employees.”
“A bit pricey, but you have to expect that in a place like Boca Grande. I had a Cuban sandwich and it was one of the best I’d ever had. Conch fritters were great. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere in the outdoor seating was really nice.”
“The Italian cuisine I experienced recently was truly exceptional, surpassing any I have had in many years. The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the service were both outstanding.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly”
“I like to come to this beautiful Inn to get away from the mayhem that is Miami. This place very lovely with an amazing staff. You are always warmly greeted and room service is amazing. The dinners are always delicious always with a wonderful selection to choose from. Austin the dining room manager is always so polite and accommodating to all our needs. This place has an old Florida feel and the beaches are the most beautiful I have ever seen with sunsets that are beyond words. Definitely worth the money for a very relaxing weekend! Looking forward to our next visit!”
“On a scale from 1 to 10, the turkey club is an 11! I would share a photo but the thing disappeared right before my eyes! Kind and quick service as always. Thanks!”
“Absolutely wonderful food! The steak tacos and the pork tamales are fantastic! Guacamole also was great! Every trip to Boca Grande requires a visit to Tortuga’s!”
“Came today 9/18/23 because the memory of their lobster roll lingers..... best I've ever had.... so sad to see they're closed. I'll be checking back.”
“A must see in Boca Grande. Very nice ambience with outdoor seating and in the indoor restaurant, which is decorated in American style with high quality wooden furniture. Super friendly service. Great drinks (also non-alcoholic) and IPA on tap. Be sure to try the guacumole and the burger!Parking: Directly adjacent to the restaurant”
“Scarpa's Coastal Restaurant on Boca Grande is a true hidden gem!The food was in one word, INSANE!!The mini crab cake for an appetizer was truly amazing! Our meal was one to remember and we will return. Owner Ashley, manager Sarah and their team are exceptional in hospitality. A must visit!”
“This is another fun place—a restaurant next to the marina (Boca Grande)—. So, good food, reasonable prices (I had BLT, delicious and under $20.00), but service just a bit slow. No wonder: people were lined up outside. We waited over 40 minutes—but it was worth it.”
“Good food, reasonable prices, and excellent employees.Vegetarian options: Portobello sandwich, plenty of breakfast options, staff were willing to remove sausage from the breakfast burrito.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available.”
“This is where the locals eat on Pine Island. Good food at reasonable prices. Daily specials with a good beverage selection. Save room for dessert! Florida at it's friendly best.”
“I have not been here, but a friend bought a variety of mini tarts, and they were amazing! If I need a beautiful dessert for entertaining in the future, Sassy Tarts is IN!”
“Great experience once again, great food and drinks, Teresa was our server and she was very attentive and friendly, Finn always makes great drinks!!! I recommend apulia if you're looking for great food drinks, and atmosphere! It's a Gem”
“What brings us back to this place over and over again is the views! SWFL charm through and through! The food is always fantastic and very consistent. I ordered the shrimp and grits this time with the blue crab and corn chowder soup as a side. This chowder is FANTASTIC! I could hardly share with my husband it was so good, sweet and so savory. Forget the cup, go with the bowl! It’s he shrimp and grits were so good I forgot to take pictures. Just cheesy enough to not over power the shrimp flavor. High five to the chef. The food is more pricy, however you know it’s going to be good and consistent so it’s worth it. The staff is extremely professional and patient. This is a restaurant for a romantic date or a celebration. I’ve also gone here for a wedding! Yes it’s that beautiful! Totally recommend a sunset timeframe as you can see from the pictures.Parking: We were able to find a spot but have struggled in the past. However this time they had a parking lot monitor so maybe that’s the difference.”
“Accessible only by boat, Cabbage Key is a nice destination to spend a few hours to a few days. It's a popular place to be on the weekends. The restaurant has a great story with the dollar bills tacked all over the walls and ceiling. They just recently opened up the ice cream store. The toasted coconut is DELICIOUS!”
“One of multiple restaurants, and we love all of them. Conch fritters are amazing. I only wish the bills attached to the walls with hate messages were removed. I fully respect everyone's viewpoints, but don't respect the hate. Looking forward to visiting again ”
“Everything I've had is excellent, but The Floridian omelet is next level amazing! Succulent seafood, perfectly cooked eggs with cheese and hollandaise sauce. Every bite is heaven!”
“Great little lasting piece of old Florida. The grouper sandwich was great. Bokeelia being our new home base we are looking forward to frequenting this spot!Parking: Located at the marina plenty of parking”
“They have a lot of essentials you might forget or not want to pack when staying at the resort (like sticks of butter and eggs, condiments, etc) and some nice to have stuff like fishing poles, donuts, beer, and ice cream.”
“First time eating here and we will definitely be going again. Very friendly staff, all of our dinners were served hot and we had plenty to eat. We had the veal special and it really was special. The veal was incredibly tender. Very happy with our night there. Highly recommend.”
“We ate Sunday breakfast at The Hills for the first meal we have ever had there. Not only was the Hostess (Sandy) and our waitress (Joan) super hospitable and friendly, but we actually made some new friends from a nearby table. The service was excellent and the food very good. We can’t wait to try one of their Wednesday or Friday evening dinners.”
“Love the host, the service and the food. We live close by and when we have a date night, it's hard to beat this local establishment. The chef is always willing to accommodate our vegan friends if he possibly can and the prices are very good, too. The atmosphere is nice with the lower lighting and it isn't loud so you can actually talk in a normal voice unlike some of the other local restaurants. The key lime martini's are yummy, too!Parking: There is parking on both sides of the restaurant and a large parking lot in the rear.”
“This subway is awesome! The owner is very friendly and he speaks some Spanish. We came in with 12 guys. Instead of looking flustered and annoyed at the surprise rush, they greeted us with smiles and were extremely friendly. The bread seems fresher here and the subs better. Will definitely be back.”
“This restaurant is an interesting Fusion of Florida 80s style architecture along with Classy dining. It is quite interesting and quite well done. The food is fantastic. The stakes are amazing and the pizza is unique and absolutely delicious. Is place has transitioned into something that's really neat and I hope it continues to be successfulKid-friendliness: Restaurant has an area Outdoors where kids can run around.”
“Great people who take excellent care of their staff. The manager took it upon herself to help support and pay the rent for a waitress who was in a serious wreck.”
“I took my daughter to Rum Bay Restaurant for her birthday. It was her first time. She enjoyed it so much- from the boat ride over to the food at restaurant, service was excellent also. Weather was perfect- not too hot with a nice breeze. All in all we both experienced a delightful day. She already wants to go back.”
“Just stopped in for drink and appetizers. Friendly, quick service, delicious specialty drinks and the appetizers were very good. Only place on island so we didn't have much choice, but we were pleased. Would have given higher score, but we really weren't there long. The fried green tomato caprese was delicious!”
“Lovely atmosphere right on the water, inlet. Indoor and outdoor seating. Get there early for preference of seating. Great food. Great service. Cheeseburger was delicious and perfectly sized and cooked. French fries too crispy for my taste.”
