“If you like Chicago Pizza this is the place. We are used to eating Thin Crust Pizza with lots of Italian Sausage. Well we found it here. Reminds me of the pizza we used to get in Tinley Park, Illinois. Possibly the Best Pizza in all of Florida. The only downside is that we live in Arcadia and they are an hour away .. but we'll worth the drive.“

“We were looking for a location to host a reception for my Mother-in-law's celebration of life and Valenti's was one of the only locations we contacted that a) actually picked up the phone; b) could accommodate our group, and c) worked with us to make it a perfect and memorable event. Cesare and the entire staff there were amazing. They transformed the lounge into a beautiful and warm location and went above and beyond, adding black table linens, bud vases with flowers on the tables and candles, none of which we asked for, but all of which he delivered. It was such a nice touch and added a lot of warmth to the event. We had several older Italian's in our party (my Father-in-law is 84) and it was the perfect location for them to sit, fill their belly's and reminisce with family they hadn't seen for years. Cesare prepared a special menu for my Father-in-law, to include an antipasto, caprese salad, chicken piccata, meatballs and baked ziti, which seemed to please the crowd. They also allowed us to bring in pictures of my Mother-in-law to sit around and use their television to have a scrolling slide show of photos of her. The staff was very attentive to our group and made my Father-in-law feel very special. I cannot express how grateful we were to the entire team there for making this day memorable.“

“I love going on and seeing people put bad reviews just because they think they can get something for free of make a company look bad. This Venice store and the Sarasota store are 2 of the best places to get your normal pizza. The people are nice the owners are fantastic never do I ever go in this store and get bad service period. I always always get my pizza either here in the Venice store of if I’m near Sarasota I’ll get it there. Thanks for all the great work you and ur employees do. Keep up all the great work“

“Had to review this place. First ever order with delivery. Ahead of schedule, steaming hot. Pepperoni & Old Style was delicious. Up there with my favorite place. Highly recommend. The only improvement I could see would be for them to add more pepperoni as it was a little bare compared to others, otherwise 5/5.“

“We’ve had delicious pizza from Big Mike’s, and finally decided to go inside and have dinner this past week. We had actually just walked out of another local Italian restaurant on Venice Ave where the service was so unwelcoming that we didn’t want to stay! Big Mike’s was exactly what we were looking for that evening. A wonderful surprise. The sever, Alyssa, was great! Our meals were delicious, a level up from average pizzeria dinners. We had baked ziti and seafood pasta. The prices are very reasonable. Even the salads and bread were extra special. And a decent selection of wine. The only thing that would make it even more perfect would have been red and white checkered tablecloths! It will definitely be a regular place for us from now on!“

“It is my Mom’s birthday, so I asked the store to please write Happy Birthday on the box. These sweet employees wrote it out in fun, big letters with decorative balloons on a large piece of paper. They even offered to sing Happy Birthday. My Mom said the pizza was delicious and it really brightened up her day. This was also on a Saturday night, so I know they were busy and still went out of their way. Thank you for being kind and thoughtful ❤️“

“Today I ordered a tuna on everything bagel with lettuce and tomato, my wife ordered a chicken salad on everything bagel. So my tuna had no lettuce or tomato and there was about a teaspoon of tuna and on two bagel bottoms with no top. My wife’s plain chicken salad came with a normal amount of chicken salad but with lettuce and tomato and on all tops.“
